We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable little house. Kristina is an excellent host host and she replied immediately to my few questions for her and inquired about how our stay was going. My friend's daughter stayed with us one night and there was plenty of comfortable bedding for her to use the sofa bed in the living room. We appreciated the energy saving features in the house and enjoyed its quick heating water for the showers and in the kitchen. We hope we can stay here in the future.
The house is clean and reasonably comfortable. It is also VERY small, and the pictures of the kitchen are deceiving. There is hardly any counter space, and the washer and dryer is crammed into the kitchen. There is also no place to eat a meal other than on the small couch or one chair in the living room. This would be a good rental for couples, especially if you're planning on eating out for most of your meals, however with my family of 4 it would have been a bit tight had we been staying longer than one night. Overall 4 stars for cleanliness, ease of access, and host communication with the one star reduction for the kitchen.
Great stay! Location was “less” than ideal but the house took up for it. She even allowed us to have a late checkout! I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to stay
This was a lovely and intimate cottage stay in Charlotte! The host had plenty of fun things ready for us in the backyard (firepit, hammock). Unfortunately it thunderstormed so we couldn't enjoy them, but there was plenty to do inside the cottage to keep us entertained. As a pet owner, it was so nice and convenient to have a fenced-in property (the front yard has a chain link fence) for our dogs to be able to do their business safely. We had a minor issue with a leaky sink and the host got in touch immediately and helped us solve the problem. Very reliable, accommodating, and generous. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to or through Charlotte!
The house was not ready a lawn mower was in the front yard a camper was in the backyard there was a pitbull running around it did not look like the add
It was a cute little home that accommodated my friend and I rather well. It was strange not having a traditional stove/oven, but we made it work. And while the modern shower hardware was cool to see, it was difficult figuring out how to turn the shower head on. The location was very convenient with tons of places to eat and activities nearby. The linens were fresh and clean, but we did have to purchase our own wash cloths. The backyard was decent but the garden chairs were a little dirty and the firepit did not turn on for us. Overall it was quaint stay and the philanthropic efforts of the house was inspiring.

We’re glad you enjoyed your start. We are sorry to hear about you purchasing Wash cloths and didn’t realize the firewood didn’t work. I wish you would have said something. I mentioned you that I have someone on call. We would have addressed that and brought you some wash cloths and would have addressed that immediately. Thank you for choosing, To stay with us.
This is a sweet little cottage and the background story as to its origin is wonderful. They provide very nice linens, plentiful and plush towels, and good toilet paper (it matters!). I wanted to give it all 5/5 because the hosts were so friendly and communicative, but the location was a little sketchy (although next door neighbor on one side was very friendly). It's not exactly a private back yard - it is open to the neighbor's. Nice that the hosts left s'mores fixings though! I don't think it would hold 6 adults as listing states unless 2 slept on full size convertible couch together - but we were only 3 of us so the 2 bedrooms were fine for us. A little expensive for the location and size/what you get, but overall, a clean, well decorated cottage and very nice and communicative hosts.
