Lovely retreat

A lovely, secluded property 1.5 hours from Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier. The hot tub, sauna, and location along the river all made for great relaxation after long hiking days. Fast Wi-Fi and a smart TV in the house. The neighborhood leading up to the property had some construction and messy houses, but it did not take away from the experience with the property.

Quiet and quaint getaway

There was just enough space for 3 of us to sleep (kiddo, wife, and me). We enjoyed the quiet privacy of the property with hot tub and sauna. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. Too bad it was rainy and chilly during our stay; we would have definitely enjoyed hanging out outside more.

Great place to get away

The cabin was cozy and as advertised. The outdoor area including the sauna, hot tub and fireplaces were great! The only downside I saw was that checkin instructions could have been a little more descriptive and included a brief statement about driving past multiple no trespassing signs to get to the cabin. Other than that’s it was enjoyable and worth it.

Great place, great host!

Secluded and cozy! We stayed for a long weekend to check out the area. This was the perfect base for us as it was a quiet and peaceful respite at the end of each day. We loved sitting by the river each morning for coffee and enjoying the hot tub each evening as we watched for the bald eagle that cruised by along the river. It’s obvious Kaniz takes great pride in the property and ensuring a great stay. Kaniz was very responsive to a very minor issue we had with the tv and got it resolved quickly. WiFi was strong everywhere. Entry was easy and we felt very secure. The hot tub and sauna were the cleanest of any property I’ve stayed at, and both were well maintained and functioning properly. Absolutely no “ick” at all. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises!

This is a hidden gem. A quaint little cottage with every detail covered. We loved the privacy, hot tub and sauna and the washer and dryer but most of the ambiance of the property. The host took care to make sure we located it and then called just be sure we had everything we needed. If I lived closer this would be our new weekend getaway. Highly recommend

There are beautiful views to the creek from various spots. The property has a dry cedar sauna, a 40-jet hot tub with changing lights, fairy moss garden, and much more. The serene space makes it a great place for couples and those looking for some peace and tranquility.
