Alejandra, the host, is fabulous! Extremely responsive and checks in regularly to ensure that you are enjoying your stay. The view is speculative with whale watching, bring your binoculars, and amazing sunsets!

Playa Royale by the beach

Very good location by the beach. Can get a bit active at night with some close hotels have live bands but all noise stops at 11pm.

The studios and everything that comes with it is a bit dated. However, it was very clean upon arrival and the location and view can’t be beat. If you’re not a gourmet cook the few utensils are just fine. Just don’t expect a pro-kitchen. The host was always available to answer any questions. Would be back in a heartbeat!

The apartment has a great view of the ocean and a comfortable bed. The beautiful pool area was nice but the beach club shown in the ocean view picture was not part of the resort. The hosts were responsive and understanding. It should be noted that visitors are not allowed on the property, as part of the resort rules.

Amazing view!

The only reason we didn't give this 5 stars is that the unit is lacking in some the necessities for staying in and cooking and eating your own meals. A few more dishes and items used to make meals would be perfect! This unit has an amazing ocean view with gorgeous sunsets and is close to the mall and a short walk away to more restaurants.

Playa Royals Tower 1

Very good location. Close to the mall/shopping and restaurants. Beautiful grounds and buildings. Basic needs-ie 1 toilet paper roll, and pump hand soap. Make sure you bring your essentials. Unfortunately the elevator was being repaired and we had to use the stairs up to 7. They offered a ground floor, but we love a view and said no. Their view was spectacular! There was a slight issue at check in- we were not registered, and there were no keys. Very quickly resolved. We locked our items in The in room safe not knowing it was broken, but the next morning the owner sent a locksmith to open the safe. He also allowed us a much later check out. The owners were wonderful, so was the host. We Would recommend and would stay again.
