Gingerbread Cottage - Forest Setting - Available Winter Too!

When you arrive at this quaint cottage, you will have found peace and tranquillity just minutes away from activities and entertainment. From every window (and the deck) you will view dense forest - with not a neighbor in sight.

'Gingerbread Cottage' is ideally located on a hill just one and a half miles above the village of Fish Creek. Within minutes you can be at the waterfront, Peninsula State Park, Drive-In theater, Peninsula Players theater in the garden, restaurants and shops.

Inside the cottage you will find plenty of space for a large family or a get-together with friends. Two upstairs bedrooms share a bath and sleep six with two sets of bunk beds and two more twin beds.

The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and adjacent bath. The greatroom has a wood burning fireplace and a dining area adjoining a fully equipped kitchen. A wrap-around deck gets plenty of sun amidst the dense foliage.

'Gingerbread Cottage' offers privacy, convenience and charm at a low introductory price.

Rustic

We love this neighborhood! Very quiet and close to Fish Creek. Make sure you bring your own towels. This is a more rustic stay. Difficult with young children who want to crawl around.

Nice house

We stayed 4 nights. The house was relatively clean with a couple of spiders to keep us company. There were deer in the back. Neighbors were quiet. We were able to take the dogs, which is a plus for us as not many places will allow dogs. We had to provide our own bath towels but not a big deal. Nice place. Close to the activities we wanted to do.

Our getaway

Very old, woodsy, but dusty/dirty with cobwebs. We were disappointed with the lack of care. Even tho we went to a pet friendly site and stated we were including our dog, we were charged an additional 20 per day! There is much potential, but needs a thorough cleaning. The view outside could be lovely, but needs cleanup.

Very nice location ! Easy to get everywhere we wanted to go ! Nice cozy place to stay we would come back . Fire place was nice , bed was comfy , and tv in all the rooms . Only suggestion is it needs a deep cleaning in the bathroom and overall dusting . But other than that great stay .

Relaxing Property

Tucked away in the woods with lots of privacy, yet close to Fish Creek and all that Door County has to offer. Make sure to bring mosquito spray. The cottage was very cozy and comfortable. Had a wonderful time.
