This was one of the cutest little houses I've rented off VRBO. The owner makes finding the house VERY easy (the other review someone left was clearly by someone who didn't communicate). My trip was last minute, but the owner make the house just as welcoming. From the farm fresh milk and local baked brownies to the comfortable and updated furnishings, this place is a genuine retreat. My partner and I definitely plan on returning!
The Yellow House is adorable, perfectly appointed, and clean and tidy. We loved it! From the fresh milk and cookies waiting for us on arrival to the easy and friendly communication with Rachel, the owner and manager, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. The beds are comfy, and little details are great- like bedside lights that turn on with just a tap and power outlets right in the night tables. At the end of a long day, we all appreciated the couch and loveseat where all of the seats reclined!
Could not find the house. I was riding around for 40 minutes looking for the address and couldn’t find it. The GPS takes you in circles the reception is terrible. Finally I gave up and went to a hotel
Decided to take the family back to Central Pennsylvania for a New Year’s holiday trip. I needed a property that would be big enough to comfortably house 5 people, and this property was the ideal size from looking at the listing. Upon arrival we immediately were impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness of the house. Rachel took great care to decorate the house and make it feel at home. Since it was the holiday season, the house was decorated with holiday decorations, and she even had milk and cookies waiting! The family loved the all of the canvas art of the cows also. The setting of the house was also a plus for my family. Although I’m originally from the area and used to a rural environment, my family has been born and raised in Atlanta…definitely not rural. My wife and daughters loved seeing the chickens, ducks, and cows. The house was easy for me to find. The entrance to the farm is located at the intersection with stop signs at all directions and has pillars at the entrance with a sign with the name of the farm on it. From there, Rachel provided specific directions to the house. Pretty simple. Communication with Rachel was great. She was quick to respond and directions were precise and clear. I’ve been renting vacation rentals in the Central Pennsylvania area for years, and this property has been the first to provide an abundant amount of space for my family. Additionally, the house is clean and modernly updated. I highly recommend the Yellow House!
