The pictures can't do this place justice - it's a dream for large groups! The indoor spaces are spacious and well considered for groups. We loved every minute, even when rain changed our plans to be indoors much of the trip.

Really wonderful family vacation. We appreciated how well stocked the house was (towels, toilet paper, plates, etc) and loved gathering areas with plenty of seating.

House was incredible and perfect for our bachelor party. Close to New Buffalo and casinos, and the perfect place to hangout and watch March Madness. Cannot recommend the house and host enough!! Truly an amazing property.

The first impression was amazing and our excitement continued throughout our stay. All areas were clean even though the house is very large. The kitchen was very functional with plenty of storage, the frig had much space, Dishes, pans were plentiful with a coffee machine. It reminded us of a chef’s kitchen. The pass through from the kitchen to the breakfast bar provided opportunities to visit The bedrooms were numerous for our large group. The dinning room and the large gathering room suited our group. The pool was exceptionally nice.The host was very helpful in getting us oriented. We would certainly consider this for another family reunion.

Tim is a fantastic host! He came over and gave us a tour of his beautiful house, and explained everything to us - codes, where to find items, and how to work appliances, and what an amazing space! Huge dining area and great room, great kitchen with SO many dishes for kids and grownups, and an abundance of bedrooms and bathrooms! Plus he had chips, dips and s'more- makings all for the taking! The pool was constantly in use, and we had fun in the game barn and making s'mores at the fire pit! The 7 grandkids would be worn out from swimming so the 10 adults could hang out and play games at night. We had so much fun! The Sawyer Inn was better than we hoped for, and that's saying a lot!

We were a group of 6 families with elementary aged kids and The Sawyer met all of our needs and then some. Tim is a wonderful host, meeting us on arrival for a very quick orientation, and was readily available for any issues (he replaced an empty propane tank with an hour of teaching out). Three separate washing machine and dryer combos was greatly appreciated as were the two refrigerators plus chest freezer. Our only suggestion if space and plumbing allows would be to add a second dishwasher. The on site dumpster helped keep the house clean, though we definitely would have recycled if the option existed. We were also pleasantly surprised to find 12 beach chairs in the party barn. Walk ability to Sawyer Garden Center, Infusco coffee, and Sideyard brewery also came in very handy.

House was perfect for our multi family family vacation! Amenities were wonderful and its clear that Tim is passionate about hosting a wonderful saty for all his guests!

We have stayed at countless VRBO over the years with family and friends. Nothing holds a candle to this home. Tim has thought of everything. Kids cups, plates, utensils, multiple pack and plays, high chairs, boosters, and the game shed are so helpful when traveling with young ones. The kitchen has everything you could need and every bedroom and bathroom was equipped with more than enough linens and towels than you’d ever need. The pool and outhouse next to it are perfect and greatly appreciate the double security of a fence and cover on the pool. Tim was always responsive and we are looking forward to booking with him again!

House was very nice and the host was very accommodating. Just wish the game room was heated as the weather was too cold to actually enjoy it. Also the screened in porch area is very beautiful and again could not enjoy due to weather. Overall had a great experience and would recommend this house for any small or large groups.

We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for a girls trip. The house was clean and adorable, so charming. Very clean and the pool was perfect. The host responded to any questions I had within minutes. We will be back again!

Best retreat house!

Myself and ten other artists rented out this space for an artist retreat. This was one of the most comfortable places we've stayed at. Loved everything about it, and Tim is a gem of a human. Will definitely be planning our next retreat here!

Awesome Stay and Owners!

Tim and Shawn are so accommodating and truly made our weekend unforgettable. Every detail was perfect. The property itself is perfect for a large group gathering - enough rooms and seating area for our entire group (20 people). We will definitely return!

Best Birthday Weekend!

We had the absolute best weekend with our group of 18 people. All the rooms are spacious, cozy, and had super comfortable beds. The kitchen is TO DIE FOR! Great for cooking a big meal to enjoy together. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again!

We had an amazing New Year’s stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and comfortably fit seven families. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tim was an outstanding host — incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. When we accidentally left a pair of glasses behind, he mailed them back immediately. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would 100% stay here again!
