Unique home on Catclaw Mountain with a pool and pet friendly

Cattleman's is a great home with it's own uniqueness. It sits about halfway up on Catclaw Mountain. It sleeps 15 with three bedrooms and an enclosed porch area with lots of windows for great views of the outside. It has an indoor cantina area with a tv and bar area. The best views are off the balcony overlooking the Frio River Valley area. Great place to have your morning coffee or evening drink. Just outside the side door is the great pool and outdoor firepit area. If you are wanting to float or just hang out at the river, this home comes with free parking passes close to Seven Bluff Crossing. This home is also pet friendly and offers a small fenced in area behind the house.

Great property. We enjoy sitting on the deck and the pool was great in the afternoon and evening when the trees blocked the sun. The rooms were very clean and nice. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to be around the Concan area.

This house was amazing for our family. We enjoyed everything about it. The pool was our favorite part. The house was very clean and accommodating. The host was available and answered any questions we had very promptly. The view was breathtaking and we will hopefully book again in the future

I think this was a beautiful property! Everything was great EXCEPT: this is not meant for elderly or very small children. The rocky steps that are 360 degrees around the property are too hazardous for young and older. The rest of us were able to make it up and down the narrow spiral staircase indoors. My Aunt was unable to join the poolside fun but she enjoyed watching from the balcony! I would only rent again if I didn’t have the same party. I appreciate everything else on the property.

t was a very fun house! The pool was awesome, the view from the balcony was amazing, and it got COLD at night!The only nitpicky things I would mention are that there weren’t many utensils or pans available, so if you plan on cooking a meal at the house, I would advise bringing EVERYTHING you need to prepare it. We did burgers and hot dogs outside, which worked out great, and I would definitely recommend utilizing the outdoor grill.One last thing: be careful in the pool. There are areas where it drops from about 3 feet to 5 feet pretty quickly, and you could easily twist an ankle if you’re not paying attention.Overall, this was a very fun weekend! There is A LOT of space for a huge group, plenty of places to sleep, and I would HIGHLY recommend this place for your next weekend getaway.

We used the pool a lot as well and the private river access was convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

This home was great. The AC was amazing!!! The house was very clean and the host was helpful and quick to answer any and all questions. The only issue we had was that there were no blinds or coverings on the bedroom windows. That made changing clothes in the bedrooms an experience if anyone was sitting on the back deck . Also note there are lots of stairs (beautiful rock stairs) so it is not ADA friendly. Overall we would definitely book this house again.
