Welcome to your very private 10 acre piece of Kentucky at its best. Our stay features the Kentucky Palisades, a cedar cabin nestled in the Thoroughbred Capital of the World and is also conveniently located on the Bourbon Trail! This peaceful riverfront property has two bedrooms, comfortably sleeps six, has an acre pond with a floating dock, a boat ramp at the end of our driveway and easy access to Keeneland. Whether you are looking to explore the Bluegrass or just relax and recharge, this stay will accommodate both.

We loved the rustic atmosphere of the cabin, along with the privacy and beauty of the land and pond. It was so nice to have the use of the kayaks, and we enjoyed using them to explore the river.

This property was gorgeous! The cabin, the pond with the fountain, the lights on the dock and pavilion, the seating ...everything to help for a relaxing vacation! The view as soon as you pull on to the property helped set the tone for the whole vacation. The cabin was perfect, starting at the front porch where there is ample seating to look out on the wonderful view and to listen to the water and birds, it made my heart so happy! The cabin was tastefully decorated and very clean. Extra toiletries furnished in case we forgot ours. The couch in the cabin was humongous, good for stretching out and taking a nap on. The only way we could leave was to book it for next year Thank you so much for sharing your special place with us!!

My wife and I loved it. The Kayaks were a bonus. We kayaked the river and found a waterfall. The property was perfect. The pond was really cool and you can get to the river to fish. Porch swing was also really nice.

We loved our mini-vacation and I plan to come back regularly. Perfect for a writing retreat (I’m an author) or a couple get-away, the cabin is excellently equipped to be cozy and peaceful, while the pond and gorgeous surroundings give you great vistas from the cabin porch and floating dock. It’s all designed for maximum relaxation (although there are kayaks and plenty of grounds to walk around.) Hosts answered all my questions graciously and quickly. This is truly a gem; the pictures don’t do justice to the charm and seclusion. One recommendation: The second bedroom could use a bedside table and reading lamp. So glad we discovered this getaway!!

Cozy private cabin! We especially loved everything outdoors. The private pond, kayaks, floating dock, and fire pit! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Our daughter attends Asbury University which was a short 15 minute drive from the cabin. We enjoyed getting away in nature and being able to relax and enjoy one another.
