Very cute place to stay off King St - it was as advertised, very clean and comfortable, kitchen was stocked well enough to cook. Street/bar noise wasn't bothersome to me at all while inside, and the beds were really comfortable. (I wouldn't recommend if you have napping children/light sleepers). Quick to get to and from the highway as well as to some really good restaurants/bar. Parking was in a hard to find deck by the Hyatt House Charleston across the street and a half block up - you get a voucher to use to pay as you exit. I didn't realize this was a one-time use voucher, so I had to pay 35 to exit the deck very early in the morning on my way to the airport. Takes a good 25 minutes to walk to the french quarter, which I didn't know was that far away. This was my first visit to the area and I was surprised at how crowded, traffic-wise and people-wise, the area was, especially for a mid-week stay. Construction, narrow roads and sidewalks, one ways, closed roads, unhoused people begging/yelling... all felt a little too "big city" to me rather than the quiet, slow-paced southern charm I was hoping for. In hind site, Mt. Pleasant may have been better for me with day trips to Charleston proper. Just my 2 cents.
We had a fabulous day for the weekend. The property is located right on King Street, but is still not too loud. It gave the teens in our group the freedom to be able to wonder Charleston on their own. It is extremely clean and well pointed. Beautiful property. The outdoor areas are special. We could spend the evenings out on the deck playing cards. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Charleston soon.

Hi Rebecca, thanks so much for your great review! We're thrilled to hear you had a fabulous weekend and that the location struck the perfect balance of convenience and calm. It’s great that the teens could explore on their own, and we love that you enjoyed the outdoor spaces for card games and relaxing evenings. Come back and see us soon!
This was the perfect place for my husband, 18 year old son and me to stay for the weekend. We were visiting one of my other sons that lives in a small house there. We were able to keep our car in the parking garage most of the time and just walk to many dining and shopping spots. We loved having the outside rooftop area to hang out in the evenings. The host was always very helpful and quick to respond to questions. We will stay there again in the future!

Hello Betsy, we’re so happy that you were pleased with our service and the home. We strives to deliver the best guest experience, and it makes our day to know we have accomplished just that. Hope to see you again soon!
Amenities could be a little better -- mainly more than 1 towel per guest for almost a full week and perhaps an actual shampoo dispenser in the bathroom. Beds super comfortable. Walkable location and Babas is awesome to have nearby. We live in Boston, so the noise from the bars around the building didn't bother us, and honestly we couldn't hear anything inside our condo. I will say that the listing does sugarcoat the noise a little by saying "on King Street", in the sense you can literally see the bar patio and TVs from the condo door. It's a little more than on a busy street. Traveling with kids we never used the King Street entrance. The elevator off the back of the building was super helfpful!

Thanks so much for the helpful feedback! We're glad you loved the walkable location, the quiet inside the condo, and especially our super-comfy beds - they’re a guest favorite. We appreciate your notes on towels and toiletries and will look into improving those. And thanks for the perspective on the King Street atmosphere; we’ll continue refining our listing to set the right expectations. We’d love to host you again!
