The docks are guaranteed for the Summer only.

Boats, kayaks, canoes, etc not included but can be rented nearby.

Please note that some amenities are seasonal and not available year round. We cannot guarantee that the weather or the river’s water levels will be ideal for your stay, as both vary frequently and can be unpredictable. Ask us if you have any questions at all. We’re always happy to help!

All pets must be pre-registered. There is a modest pet fee.

The Hummingbird Camp is not a party or event venue. The first 4 guests are included in the base rate. We don't recommend more than 6 guests but can accommodate up to 8. All guests must be included in the reservation.

THC embraces a 420-friendly policy, allowing respectful outdoor-only smoking in accordance with state laws. We kindly ask that all guests adhere to these guidelines to ensure a harmonious environment for everyone.

Such a wonderful place to stay, very relaxing. The hosts were beyond accommodating and quick to respond. We highly recommend this location for a mountain getaway. Right along the river, able to safely walk the dog and kids. Friendly neighbor—gave great suggestions for places to visit. Close to town, plenty to see and do.

Small town, quiet location but not far from many other activities. Loves Tubby Tubing, revolutionary rail and trip to Lake George. House had clean hot tub and river swimming. Bring life jackets for the kids as there is a current.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the Hummingbird Camp. It’s a cozy cottage but modern, clean and everything in it is so thoughtful. It felt comfortable and a home away from home. We slept a lot, lounged on the sofas, baked cookies. The location was perfect for everything - hiking, fishing, Lake George & Saratoga Springs. The highlight for us was Revolution Rail in Hadley. The owners were so responsive and answered any questions within a minute. Would definitely recommend this place.

The Hummingbird Camp

Our stay at the Hummingbird Camp was really wonderful!! The accommodations were everything we could have hoped for. It's cozy and comfortable and we had all that we needed. The care and concern that the hosts have for the property are evident in the cleanliness and comfort that they provide for their guests. Julie was really great at keeping in contact with us. We're so glad we had the opportunity to meet her in person when she made a special trip to deliver ice melt and a snow shovel! We loved our week at the Camp and look forward to renting again! 10 stars!!

Great Getaway

My fiance and I enjoyed our stay with our dogs. The house is very clean! Beds & bedrooms were good size and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and decent size, especially for the size of the house. Hot tub was clean and a gem for the cold snowy weekend. I do wish that the front porch and the area around the fire pit was shoveled prior to our stay, like the hot tub was — as it definitely was an amenity that we looked forward to using. Just FYI to note the grill is a charcoal grill, not electric. Overall, we enjoyed our little weekend. The house was pet-friendly, with little treats & doggie bags at the entrance of the front door. We would definitely consider returning for a weekend in the summertime! Thank you, Julie & Gina!

Family-owned by a brother & sister, and spouses. We love our family vacations! It was natural that we would transition to coming up with a way that we get to spend more time together creating the backdrop for incredible memories for other families.

Why they chose this property

The Hudson River is so much cleaner this far North. It's a quiet street where you are more likely to see someone walking their dog than a car driving by. And yet, The Hummingbird Camp is so close to everything, from boating & adventure tours, to golf, and even downhill skiing!

What makes this property unique

Well, it's not your grandad's camp! It has vaulted ceilings with stunning warm wood and modern perks. It's beautifully renovated with modern appliances. There are smart TVs in every room. The living room TV has "party mode," a backlight that turns movie night into a theatrical experience. There is a refreshing bidet in the bathroom. The Hummingbird Camp has a hot tub to unwind after a long day on the water. Not only can you bring your furry family members, we have amenities just for them! There is a pet bed, treats, and we keep waste bags right next to the door because poop happens!
