Oceanfront 1+ Bedroom Coastal Retreat with hot tub

Oceanfront home available for rent on the beautiful Mendocino County coastline. Enjoy breathtaking views from this 2 acre property - no homes between you and the water. Minutes to Anchor Bay beach , and a short drive to Gualala . Spend your days hiking, beachcombing or exploring Mendocino Wine Country. Spend your evenings listening the barking seal lions at nearby Fish Rock while relaxing in the hot tub.


One bedroom, one bath with additional detached bedroom in the 'Captains Quarters'. Full kitchen, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, Propane BBQ, and wood burning stove firewood not guaranteed but guests are welcome to use if available. Main Bedroom has a queen size bed, 'captain quarters' has full size bed. Additionail queen pull out in main house.

Awesome stay loved the place. Fantastic views from inside and sitting on the patio drinking morning coffee. The house was very cozy and our dog Leia loved the outside area. Plenty of room to roam around. Would definitely stay again, very relaxing.

This is a wonderful little cottage by the ocean. Not fancy, but comfortable perfect for a relaxing retreat. The views of the ocean crashing on Fish Rock and in the cove behind Haven's Neck are outstanding. The property is big enough that you can walk down the hill a ways with your morning coffee for closer views of the coast and to hear the sea lions barking on the offshore rock. This part of the coast gets very little fog, so each morning we had our ocean views and each evening the stars were bright.

The property is perfect for a couple of travelers. We loved the view and a nice touch - small bouquet on the dining table.The fire pit outside wasn't mentioned in the description, so it was a great surprise - we spent two evenings at the pit with the ocean view!!The spa is smallish - only for 3 people.We loved our stay and would love to cone back.

The views were amazing, and the hot tub was in the perfect location for view of the ocean, with a little bit of covering so we could still sit in the hot tub while it was raining outside. Definitely would love to come back and have better weather to enjoy the space in views fully.

The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the home is very charming. The bed is very comfortable, and the view from the bedroom of the ocean during the day and the stars at night is beyond compare. Absolutely spectacular location. Totally charming house including wonderful water color paintings of the view by the owner’s grandmother. Completely captivating. Looking forward to returning. Loved this cottage and access to anchor bay. We had a peaceful stay listening to the sea lions and even saw a pod of dolphins swim by while we sat in the hot tub. Wonderful property!!
