Great stay in 1402! Super location for green outdoor views and ocean from the lanai. This unit is well appointed including a kitchen with quality knives, a rare occurrence! The beds were comfortable, the furniture in nice condition, and the closet contained an umbrella, coolers, and beach chairs for renter use. The 3 pools on property were all very well kept and clean. Our hosts were very accommodating and seemed eager to ensure we had a pleasant visit. We’ll be back!

Clean and in great condition. Nice amount of amenities in the kitchen (including great knives and food storage), and beach gear. Living room and bedrooms are very cozy, made for a great start to the day and great place to come back to after a long day of activities. Loved the tiki and art. Dining table and lanai are very large, great for a big meal or playing a game (jenga championship, haha). Beautiful full ocean view from the lanai. Quiet area. Resort pools, hottubs and grounds are well-maintained.

Great home base for exploring big island

The condo had comfy beds, an ocean-view lanai and everything we needed for our stay. There is a grocery store and a handful of restaurants nearby, and the property has three pools, tennis/pickleball courts and a ping pong table for days when you don’t want to venture too far.The condo itself was great. Comfy beds, two full bathrooms (no tub) and a fully stocked kitchen. The fridge on the lanai was a nice bonus since we spent a ton of time relaxing out there.

We enjoyed our whole stay at the condo! Kanaloa at Kona resort is so well maintained, the grounds are green and gorgeous along with the three pools and jacuzzis at each pool. We enjoyed each visit to the pools and jacuzzis, always peaceful and so clean! This unit being on the corner has the best views of the golf course, the inner grass area with palm trees and the view of the ocean from the lanai! You really can’t go wrong staying here. The updates to the unit are good quality and everything is clean and so nice. It is also quiet and so peaceful in this unit. There is also a lanai off the main bedroom where you can see the sunrise and soak in the all the vibrant green grounds and sunshine while having coffee! The hosts were so helpful with ideas for places to visit on the island and were available to answer questions quickly. We spend 8 nights and would love to have stayed longer!
