Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house and yard was beautiful! Great use of space and plenty of room for everyone. Short drive to pool/beach but could walk it too. Plenty of deer around and peaceful walks every morning. Did also have a large TV so we could also watch the World Cup games. Great place to relax but still close enough that we made day trips to Jim Thorpe and Philadelphia too. Thank you for all the fond memories.

Relaxing Get-away

This was a relaxing home base get-away, spacious and clean. Close to some very nice riding, beautiful waterfalls, and delicious meals!

The house was wonderful — warm, clean, welcoming. Fuzzy throw blankets everywhere, decorated like a true cozy home rather than a transient stay. We loved that the backyard had a completely fenced portion for the dog to run free, as well as a separate area with the gazebo (where deers came every morning). The wraparound deck with the hammock is awesome, as well as enclosed for the dog to be let out safely. There are cute little areas to enjoy morning coffee with a view. The host was immediately responsive during our stay with inquiries about heating, etc., (although I did have a small panic attack when I couldn’t reach him for 3 days right before our arrival date.) The reason why it’s not a five star is because of little rough edges like the coffee machine not working (although that wasn’t a big problem for us), there were empty detergent pod bags in the laundry room (no other supplies), there were a couple past-expiration items at the coffee bar, the Internet TV suddenly cutting out during the second night, and weak WiFi signal upstairs.

Absolutely beautiful and spacious property. Great outdoor enclosed area for kids and/or pet to roam and play. Gazebo for the older kids to hang out which they enjoyed. Fire-pit to enjoy s’mores. Highly recommend for family get away!
