The unit was as described, with an easy check-in process, and quick communication with the owners.
Although a bit dated, the unit has a great central location, close to the general store and people mover, as well as a nice semi-private backyard, along the Toby creek.
We have stayed at other properties in the area and loved our stay
Great location and the unit had good ammenities, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and other items
We had great communication with the host
Would definitely stay again
The
The location of this property is nice for families looking for green space. Love that is backs onto the creek. Great picnic table, an umbrella would complement it nicely.
More than enough space for 5.
Bring extra towels and dish cloths if staying long than a few days. This space does not offer Shampoo/conditioner/body soap. Bring your own.
Otherwise great.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Great location, some things to improve though
We booked this unit for a few nights this summer with our toddler and newborn. There were a few things that I felt the listing really did not do justice, and a few things to improve upon.
Pros:
-Beds and pillows were comfortable
-I think this unit probably has the BEST views of the entire building. Unobstructed views of the mountains, sounds of Toby Creek rushing by, and green space right outside.
-The Toby pool is the only pool at Pano other than the big ones in the village and it's just out the back door and down 2 min. (note, this pool does not provide towels like the listing says, only the ones in the village do).
-The unit is large and there was room for a pack and play in the master bedroom
-The second bedroom was probably a separate unit at one time, and has a single bed in what was once the entry way (the door is still there), so the bed is wall to wall in that space.
This was amazing for us as our toddler thought it was a novelty "fort bed", and we didn't have to worry about her falling out of bed.
-There is a store a few doors down, and a pizza restaurant (only open in the winter) which is super convenient.
Improvements/Things to be aware of:
-There is NOT free wifi. If you want internet you have to purchase it for $15/day from the Central Check in. For the price of the unit, this was disappointing, and took until our 2nd day to hear back from the owner about. He suggested we just hot spot our phones.
-The building does not have an elevator, and is not accessible. Even the first floor still has stairs. We had a lot of stuff to truck up from the parking lot, and a stroller, so this is something to be aware of.
-There is no information provided in the unit, so if you need to know about the pools, internet, fire place, ski lockers, restaurants, shops etc, you should ask in advance of arrival.
-The stove is not full-sized, and the one large burner didn't work at all, so if you do plan to do some cooking, be aware. The bbq outside was good though.
-The bathrooms had liquid hand soap, and one bathroom had shampoo, but neither had bar soap for the bath, so be sure to bring your own.
-There are no lounge chairs for outside, just a picnic table. Would have been nice to have a chair to sit and relax with a drink and enjoy the views in.
Improvement suggestions are really just minor and overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!
Would stay here again.
It's so nice to be on the main floor and have access to a small green space outside the patio door. The general store is a few condos down and it is a very short walk to the village gondola to go up and down the resort.
The comfortable beds were appreciated.
This condo was a great rental for our family. Loved how there were enough beds for everyone. It was easy access to the Toby chair which made leaving for skiing pretty easy! Would definitely rent again.
Great location with patio access to the green space above the river. Beautiful. Nice picnic table on the concrete pad for eating outside with the sound of the river.
Great view, loved the location. *wifi not included*
Really nice place right on the creek with access to outside which was great. Beds were really comfy and lots of them!! Loved the location on the resort and the whole resort. It was our first visit to Panorama and we really liked it. Will visit again.
No wifi included in the suite-this was a surprise as it is so common these days, but as this was a getaway, it was manageable.
We really enjoyed our visit to Panorama in this well stoked 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit in Toby. We particularly liked our location, ground floor, patio, BBQ, and lots of lawn chairs. Close access to walking trails, tennis courts, mini golf and pool and gondola to upper village.
The place is perfect for ski in ski out. Could come back for lunch then head back out. My kids loved being able to come and go as they pleased. The place was very well stocked in terms of dishes etc. the condo is very basic but worked well for our family of five which was five adults. The beds were very comfortable. The listing states sleeper sofa/futton but it is just a sofa. Since we were myself and my partner and my daughter and her partner my other daughter wanted a space to herself and we were expecting a sofa bed, but it all worked out fine and everyone had a great time. I can see how this would be a great location in the summer with the flat grass space in the back. They were all exctied about the wii and the game cube but the skiing was so amazing we didn't get a chance to use them. Nice touch though. Thank you Scott for the use of your place we truly had a great family holiday there.
Nina and Scott have a lovely little condo in The Toby lodges. As a 2 bedroom condo, we werw able to set up our oldest two boys (5 and 2) in one room, and sleep in the other with a playpen for our 2 month old. In addition, the location was great. Quick access to all amenities as the local stores are pretty much right beside, plus the gondola to the top of the village is really close so easy to get up there. This is also where the bridge is to cross Toby Creek and do mini golf or tennis or walk along the pathway. Finally, it was so great being able to walk out the back (ground floor spot) and have our kids run around in the green space. Thanks, Nina and Scott!
We had a wonderful stay. The location is great, close to the village gondola and backs onto a nice green space and Toby Creek. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable.
The Toby pool was closed for maintenance which was ok as the weather wasn’t that hot so we spent more time in the warm pool up in the village.
We wished we had booked longer and hope to be back in the future.
Our family had the pleasure of staying in this unit for a week. Excellent proximity to the people mover, fabulous green space out front, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We greatly enjoyed out stay - and hope to stay again.
We enjoyed our stay, the kids loved the pools and having the ground floor patio with the green space along the river was great. Perfect for BBQ and eating/playing outside.
2 large bedrooms, beds were comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked.
We would stay here again👍
We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The location is amazing. We love having the green space and the creek right there. The kitchen is very well stocked. The only negative was that one of the fridge draws was dirty and the stove and oven were dirty. No reflection on the owner though as this was the cleaners issue. Would love to stay in this unit again.

Just OK
Toby Creek Lodge appears to be a well worn complex. The unit itself was very clean with an exceptionally equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and it was great to have two bathrooms. Unfortunately, there was no heat or hot water upon arrival. Although the owner had made arrangements for the unit to be ready prior to our arrival, it took several hours for the unit to reach a comfortable temperature. After a long drive through winter storm conditions, this was unacceptable. We also couldn't connect to the WiFi. When we explained to the owner that the network wasn't password protected, but we couldn't connect without a username and password he said we'd have to deal with them (the complex) directly. Not sure how we were expected to do that without any contact information. We would also have appreciated more information about the fireplace (only special logs can be used and must be purchased from the store). Other than those few issues, our overall experience was good. The location was great!

Great holiday in Panorama!!
This vacation property was great! Very clean, very spacious. It has everything you need to enjoy your weekend.
Perhaps the best feature is the location. It's right on the river, with lots of green space for the kids to run around. It's an equally beautiful place to enjoy a glass of wine.
We look forward to visiting panorama and more specifically this property again!!
