This property has the potential to be a great house, but unfortunately it was extremely dirty upon arrival. The floors were so sticky that my feet stuck to them with every step, and I had to keep my shoes on for the entire stay. There were mouse droppings throughout the house, including on the countertops, in the bedrooms, and under the beds. Even after we cleaned them up, more would reappear.The home also appeared to have been poorly cleaned between guests. There were clumps of hair throughout the house, and when we moved the couch to look for my son’s watch, we found leftover items from previous guests, including a balloon, food wrappers, chapstick, and phone chargers hidden under furniture and mixed in with the dirt.Additionally, several basic supplies that were listed in the rental description were missing. After I mentioned there were no cups available, the hosts did bring some over, which I appreciated. They also offered to cancel our reservation after I raised these concerns, but we were in town for a wedding and only needed a place to sleep, so changing accommodations was not practical.We did not spend much time in the house during the day and did not eat there because of the cleanliness issues. With proper cleaning and maintenance, this property could be much better, but our experience was disappointing due to the condition of the home.They offered to give us the cleaning fee back, but then made up lies that we left the house dirty and refused.
