If you're an outdoorsmen or looking for a peaceful vacation, this is the perfect place for a country getaway! Conveniently located within miles of the Apalachicola Forest, access to a boat landing at the Apalachicola River, various hiking trails, and Florida’s most beautiful beaches, we have a 2 bed/ 1 bath cabin on the river. Enjoy an open floor plan downstairs that includes a kitchen area, bathroom and living room with sleeper sofa! Upstairs is a spacious loft that includes a queen size bed.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Great location near Apalachicola National Forest, Tate's Hell, St George's Island, and Apalachicola are all nearby. It's such a beautiful and peaceful area !! This property is perfect - clean, comfortable, everything we need, easy to find, and property owner communicates well!!

Perfect location

For exploring the western side of the Apalachicola National Forest - this cabin right near the Apalachicola River was perfect ! It was clean, easy to find, very comfortable with everything we needed. It didn't come with good weather, which means we hope to go back soon !!

The cabin is very nice. It was clean and cozy. The additional AC unit upstairs was very helpful to have. The sofa bed was not that comfortable but the upstairs bed was very comfortable.

We were late getting to the cabin & the loft was super hot so we slept on the pull out downstairs & it wasn’t very comfortable at all. By morning, the loft had cooled off though so if we hadn’t gotten there so late we probably would have slept in the bed in the loft (very comfy!) & been fine. The sheets/blankets situation for the pull out was a little chaotic, esp in the hot loft but we figured it out. The cabin was really cute & super clean though. We’d totally stay there again & would just plan to check in earlier & bring our own blankets.

Cute & Quiet, Just One Concern

I really liked this property and stay. My only concern was that there (at the time of my stay in April 2025) wasn't a handrail up the stairs to the bedroom loft. This felt dangerous and made me uneasy, esp overnight, if you had luggage to haul up there, etc. The owner seemed very receptive to this feedback, though, so may be added by the time you stay. Overall, though, it's cute, the neighborhood was chill, you have privacy, the neighbors aren't right next door, and even has quiet mini-split AC which I love! It could use some cushions for the hard chairs IMO, but loved there is a full frig and some bonus amenities which many rentals don't bother to include anymore so that was a nice surprise.Owner answered questions promptly. I'd stay here again.
