Impeccable cabin in the White Mountain Vacation Village surrounded by towering Ponderosa pines and hiking trails. Located deep in the woods, but 5 minutes to shopping, restaurants, movies. Professionally cleaned and disinfected. Free, strong wireless internet!! Spacious, open Living + Dining area with soaring A Frame window. See the towering pines sway from every room. All the windows bring the outdoors in! One bedroom with mirrored closet, Queen Bed and fan + Loft with Queen bed and wardrobe. All linens and pillows provided. Newer French Country Kitchen with sleek black appliances, glass front cabinets and coffee station with drip coffee maker. Kitchen stocked with all you need, except food. Big front deck with big table with 4 chairs for entertaining and dining in the mountain air. Direct TV with flat screen. Awesome A/C and Heat, plus electric fireplace. One car carport and 2 vehicle slab adjacent to cabin. Use of Clubhouse with pool table, card tables, horseshoes, coin operated laundry, field stone fireplace, 2 flat screens and additional shower facilities. Clubhouse 1 block away. Hiking, fishing, skiing, numerous lakes nearby. 3 golf courses nearby. Breathtaking trails through the National Forest. Friendliest neighbors knowledgeable about mountain biking trails and fishing hot spots. See wildlife and starry skies from the front deck. Enjoy the sweet pine scent. Paved, serviced road to the cabin and carport. White folder in the cabin full of recreation and dining info. Walk the paved loop at night and enjoy the starry skies. Sorry, no pets. Occasional javelina, deer and bear in the area. Please note: Loft area ceiling is 4.75 ft high. Low. Loft rail is 3ft high. Loft may not be suitable for small children.

The cabin was so relaxing, well decorated, very clean, fully stocked with basic necessities and well worth the price. It would easily accommodate 4 guest and it is close to almost everything you would need, like shopping, dining, and multiple activities.

It was a great experience in the area. Thank you for letting us use the clubhouse where we made new friends. Wish there was a dishwasher and laundry washer and dryer. The floors were squeaky in the bathroom but the house was well supplied and had a lot of appliances. Over all, 2 weeks or R and R. Loved to sit on the deck. Loved the hikes through the woods.

Yard lights needed either replacing or bulbs changed, back door upper light was burned out and near the HVAC unit there were openings where varmints were coming in under building. The front deck railing is loose and could be a safety issue. The top railing on the rear deck is coming loose and could be a safety issue along with no lights at night.We liked our stay otherwise. Interior decor is nice and had all equipment needed. Carport was a great plus. Wish it would have had the washer and dryer.

First off, it is clearly marked that there is a washer and dryer in a large laundry room in the clubhouse which is a very short walk from the cabin. We never relayed that there was a washer and dryer in the unit. Many guests read multiple listings and get the amenities confused. The back door is strictly for quick emergency escapes and I am not certain why one was using it. That is why there are no pathway lights in the back. Plus, having lights on overnight in the woods attracts bugs. We are sorry that a ground squirrel decided to burrow during your stay and we do appreciate you and the neighbor placing rocks in the hole to stop it. One never knows why or where the squirrels decide to dig. I do believe the rocks were the quick and final remedy. As far as the loose railings, this is the first we are hearing about it. We will send a handyman out right away. We do appreciate your few complimentary words and trust you had a pleasant month long stay.

The cabin was well equipped and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed the pool tables at the clubhouse. Only negatives were the loft did not have much headroom, an adult has to stoop. I would stay again.

Mike and Mary reside in the west valley of the Phoenix Metro area and we enjoy getting away to the White Mountains during the hot summer and fall months. We currently run a real estate team in the valley. Originally from Wisconsin, we do love the small town feel of the Show Low/Pinetop area. AND, we love the Packers. In fact, we have a puppy named Lambeau!
On getaways, we love to hike and fish. But at the end of the day, we like a good meal at a nice restaurant. This is why we love the White Mountains!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Our Cabin the first time we saw it! In fact, we only saw it once before making an offer to purchase it. We love the big porch and eat all our meals on it in the summer. We wanted to have a place that was surrounded by pines and had the smell of evergreens in the air. We also love that you can hike right from the back door. Plus, the nearby lakes and streams are perfect for the fishermen in our family!

What makes this property unique

This property is surrounded by pines and deep in the woods, yet shopping and restaurants are within 5 minutes. Forget something?? Pop on over to Walmart or Safeway! Hungry? There are numerous restaurant within a 3 mile radius and more are being built every month! Like to shop? Check out the cute boutiques in Show Low and Pinetop!
