Cozy and comfy! We enjoyed our stay at this studio. It's clear the owners thought of everything we needed for our stay. They even sent a crew to clear the snow and ice from our steps. Boy was it cold...single digits. Downtown is a short walk away (although the extreme cold prevented walking). Also, we had a wee bit of trouble finding the studio (totally my fault, transposed the address). However, owners were easily accessible and responsive by phone. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. We have family in Valpo and expect to return to this studio again and again.

Great place for a weekend stay. Was very clean, looks newly remodeled. Had everything we needed. The hosts were very accommodating and allowed us a late checkout which we appreciated. If we are back in Valpo in the future we would love to stay here again.

Graduation weekend for Valpo University

We were lucky enough to book this cute place to stay for the weekend of my daughter’s graduation from nearby Valparaiso University.It was exactly as pictured! Very cute, comfortable, and very clean.The location is perfect: close to the University, shopping, restaurants, and the downtown area.I would highly recommend to anyone planning to stay in the area!

The Lift is perfect. The interior is brand new and spotless, a great place for peace and quiet and getting some work done. The owners were immediately responsive when I had several questions.

Diana was an amazing host responsive and nice! Her place was spotless and exactly as the pictures showed the fragrance smelled really nice as you walk into the unit, I'd definitely recommend!

The first two nights of our 7 night stay was great. The studio is clean, decorated nicely. and in a great location. But unfortunate the boiler/heat of the studio did not function properly. It was uncomfortably cold by the third night. The studio thermostat was reading 57 degrees. Too cold to sleep!! When contacting the owner, she was well aware that the heat didn’t work properly and told us to use the small space heater that was located in the closet. The owner informed us that the boiler of the 4-plex couldn’t keep up with the cold temperature for this time of year. The studio warmed up that night to 62 degrees. Then the next day the studio was at 59 degrees. We asked for a refund and she said, she would only refund two nights out of the 4 nights we had left. Diane had a lack of integrity. She knew the heat didn’t work properly but still rented out her place without informing us that the heat didn’t work. Then would not refund us. Instead she offered us to move to another Vrbo of hers. Why didn’t she just put us in the Vrbo that had proper heat in the first place instead of the one with the broken heat? Moving in the middle of our vacation was a headache. She should have disclosed that the heat did not properly work!! It put a damper on our Christmas vacation!
