Exceeded our expectations! The deck and outdoor space were amazing and where we spent most of our time when not sleeping. The kids really enjoyed the frog pond and listening to them while we roasted s'mores. The master bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to relax after hiking! Thanks for the amazing stay!

Private cabin tucked back away in the woods off a beautiful winding road. Perfect for letting the dogs run loose without much worry and enough space to easily sleep like 12 people. We had 2 dogs and 5 adults and were perfectly fine. The extra cabin on the property though has no power and smells terrible. Not sure why its offered as additional living space. The hot tub also had an alert that the filter was overdue for cleaning by almost a month. So we didnt spend as much time in there as we had planned. All in all we would probably stay again. It was clean and very dog friendly and not far from most of the things we wanted to see on our quick trip.

The house was perfect for us. We had a group of consisting of 2 small children and the house provided many opportunities for the kids, and spacious enough that the kids could go to bed and we could still be up without worrying about waking them. It was a convenient 10-20 min from the trail heads and grocery stores. Quick and smooth communication with the host. The only things were the upstairs did not have good circulation so it was very warm even with a fan, but having the basement accessible helped with that. One of the beds was also covered in dog hair. But overall it was a great stay!

28th birthday celebration weekend in the perfect cozy cabin with the family (all 5 of us). Everything was super clean and comfortable, and there was so much to explore…walking trails, a cute little frog pond, and plenty of space to just relax. The fire pit made for the best evenings, and the hot tub was the cherry on top after a long day outside. Exactly the kind of peaceful getaway we needed. Would absolutely come back!

Great house-great location

The house had absolutely everything we needed. It was spacious, private, and super comfortable and we were close to everything. It was way too hot to hang outside but in better weather we would have enjoyed the awesome deck or one of the fire pits.

The Retreat at Wildcat Hollow is a unique blend of traditional cabin with bonus features throughout the property. What do we mean? The main cabin has all the amenities and comfort of a traditional cabin. And if this was all that was offered at the property, you would love it. But the retreat part of the property offers some amazing opportunities. It starts with the views from the wrap around deck which is offered on all sides of the cabin. You can enjoy morning coffee, mid afternoon reading or a group dinner all on the deck. If you like to explore, the property has treasures to check out. Start by visiting the frog pond, located right next to the outdoor fire pit. Your hosts are seasoned property managers. We have owned and managed our own rentals in Hocking Hills, Lake Erie, Central Pennsylvania and Douglas Lake Tennessee. Our web site, cozy cabin adventures, features all of our current properties.
