A nice little house. The kitchen was well equipped enough for me to make a full Easter dinner for 6 people, only had to borrow one pan from my mom. A few small issues: There were no dishwasher pods and no plug for the kitchen sink but we made due, again, borrowing dishwasher pods from my mom.Also I do wish the neighbors did not feel the need to cut their grass at 7 am on Saturday morning. That was just rude. So, a few small issues but I would definitely rent this property again if nothing else was available.

Great place to stay for campus events

Host is very responsive and the home is comfortable and clean. We had an easy drive to campus and we would definitely stay here again. It is very well decorated also.

House was very clean and modern. Pulling up that night it had holiday decorations out front and my kids absolutely loved it when they seen the Christmas tree already up and decorations around it lighting up the entire living room. It was so nice I questioned for a moment if we were at the wrong house. Absolutely no complaints. If we are ever in the area again I know without a doubt where my family will stay if it’s available. It was almost like being home.

Description: on the edge not in downtown Montevallo, garage not available, trash can out at the street.Great property for folks who want to watch big screens in every room and heat take out in the microwave; no ovenproof dish or baking pan to use the ovenCheck in: notice not sent 3 days in advance as advertised. When client phoned host, she said she would send it tomorrow, the date of the check in. upon insistence, we sent it. Requested a picture of lock, which she sent on the morrow. AC was running upon arrival, but turned off during the first night. The second night the temperature kept rising. When we returned at 6 of the third evening, it was 89 and we left. as an explanation, host said that she checked in on Thursday eve (not possible as we were there) and that upon our notifying her after leaving that it was not working, she said that it was set on heat! Really, in an Alabama summer with temperatures in the upper 90s !! Perhaps instructions for the system might be available at the residence. We reported that we broke a shower rod and paid, promptly, for the repair. She discovered that there was evidently a broken stool that she suggested that we broke (which we did not)...We reported that the blinds in the master bedroom were broken and let in lots of light at night. She reported that she knew this. All of which goes with saying that the stay might have been more pleasant as well as the interaction with the host...whom we never met. prefers texting. So sorry.

i'm so sorry. for your experience but my understanding is that you never notified that the ac was not working you notified when day you check out and when you notified me i was there in property and you had check out at 10 am . and i was there when you notified me and ac was running on heat that explains everything. im verry sorry that you are upset. i had to charge for damages. and any where in no one would believe you can live in a home with out ac especially on summer and not notifying owners. for refunds. when you check out. that day when you had sad. ac was not working i offered another home for you . but you never mentioned that the ac was not working during your stay till you check out and when i check you had running in heat . again im sorry for changing for damages. that you caused on people property's .

Peaceful, aroma was heavenly

The first thing you notice about staying here is the lavender and extraordinary attention paid to little details. The art was nice, the facility super clean. The sheets smelled heavenly. You are literally a two minute walk to the biggest grocery store in town. Gas nearby, downtown is close, place is spacious and welcoming. My hosts clearly paid attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Spacious, clean, nicely furnished house in quiet neighborhood.

We traveled to the area for our granddaughter's softball tournament. We had 7 people in our group. Owner quickly responded to our messages. There were plenty of linens. Downtown was just a mile or so away and was nice in the evening, with lots of people around and lots of lighting. We had 2 great meals at a locally owned restaurant and got treats from a locally owned bakery. Had a great weekend.
