Stay away

We booked the house for 5 days and left after 2.5 days. The house was uninhabitable. We wrote a full review right to VRBO. We requested a full refund but are being ghosted by the host and Vasca

Horrible, just a nightmare

We booked the house for 5 days and ended up leaving on the 3rd day. The house was located 11 miles down a dirt road. We were 90 minutes away from everything We get to the house and inside the temperature was over 80 degrees. The A/C unit was not working. We tried to open the windows because there was a nice breeze outside but half of them would not open and the other half had no screens. We were boiling inside the home. There was a ceiling fan that would not operate either. The only cool spot was in the basement When my daughter went to take a shower the water smelled like rotten eggs and it was cold. We called the host and he sent his stepfather over the reset a breaker. He arrived at 11 pm reset the breaker and when we tried to address the rest of the issues he promptly left without acknowledging it. The next morning when we tried to make breakfast the gas stove would not light. We checked the propane tank and it was empty. We tried to contact the host with no response. We then contacted the listing agent (Vasaca) and they also tried calling him with no response. They suggested we purchase the propane and ask to be reimbursed. This was totally unacceptable. We are currently trying to get a full refund for our stay but we still cannot get in touch with the host
