Lovely cosy little home away from home in a great location near Montmartre. It was wonderful to come back from long, full days in the city to this tranquil courtyard pied-à-terre.

This is a 5-star review. I liked the flat mostly because of its charm and warmth. It feels like a genuine home and is very well-appointed with closet space, shelving to store items, and all the household essentials you will ever need to make the place your home for a long visit. I stayed for about one month. The courtyard is also very charming and quiet which is nice to be off the main street. Plenty of boulangeries and patiseries. The neighborhood is safe and I personally like this area of the city a lot. It feels like a real Paris experience to stay at this place. I would come back.

The plus: The property is located behind a gate with a code just off a main street. Once through the gate, you find yourself in a tranquil world of gardens and historic charming stone apartments sheltered from the hustle bustle of the city. The neighbors are friendly. There is a fantastic bakery steps away, just outside the gate. The location of the apartment within Paris is great. You are close enough to the iconic tourist locations but in an authentic residential area that is not overrun with tourists. The minus: There is an inaccuracy with the listing as this is a studio apartment, not a 2 bedroom with a living room with 3 double sofa beds and 1 double bed as shown in the listing. There is 1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed. The two beds are separated from each other by furniture that doesn't even reach the ceiling. It is hard to make a case that there is a living room. Hopefully this listing description can be corrected as it is, all in all, a nice place to stay if you take out the surprise of an inaccurate description that portrays a larger and more private interior than it is.
