There is also the spoiling Incheydoney Spa with an indoor sea water pool and a thalassic health spa.
Bandon and Lisselan offer great golf clubs - Bandon (18 holes) and Lisselan (six holes).

They had a fire waiting for us when we got there They have two amazing dogs that came a visited us , my wife's favorite time was playing with them .I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to rest. They also have a washing machine so we were able to do laundry and that was very helpful. We are glad we stayed here
Beautiful property and gracious hosts . Area was lovely to explore . The near by towns were wonderful to explore . Short walk to the beach and my wife loved the Coach house .
Very nice and cozy Cottage. Fully equipped Kitchen. Small but very comfortable bed. Lovely Hosts and great Dogs. A lovely place for a little peace in the middle of nowhere. Can recommend it to all couples needing a break anf enjoying some time for yourselves. A big thank you to Gilly & Richard
We found the property to be a tranquil, comfortable, clean well equipped property that was a useful base to explore the area. Clonakity, Kinsale and Cork were all within easy driving distance. The local accessible cove was within easy walking distance. We would certainly recommend the property if seeking a peaceful location just slightly off the beaten track
Cozy, quaint cottage off-the-beaten path. Quiet with fabulous views. Just a walk down the driveway to the ocean. Very rural and remote. Real Irish living. Lovely!
Host is very welcoming, the house is great and the surrounding beautiful. Just a few minutes walking to the beach where you can have a nice swim.
Thank you so much for the great stay! We enjoyed the hospitality a lot.
A perfect little cottage if you like to go off the grid! Well appointed and comfortable, Gilly & Richard made sure we had everything we needed. Mattress & bedding was very comfy and the cottage was stocked with all the basics and then some! Made it very easy to whip up a little breakfast.Very communicative and accommodating hosts from the start. Took advantage of the option to book dinner the night we arrived and it was absolutely delightful - all farm-to-table! The walk to the beach and waking up to the greetings of the neighbor cows was something we’ll never forget.
The owners were so welcoming upon our arrival and during our short stay. They stopped by with freshly picked salad greens from their working garden. Its a small but very cozy renovated former coach house/cottage located near enough to walk to Dunworley beach. We chose this west Cork location for the beautiful panoramic views. Had a really lovely relaxing stay here.
We had a wonderful stay in the cozy coach house. We were met by Richard when we arrived with a coal fire burning in the fireplace. Richard provided fresh eggs, bread, jam and milk. Visits from Richard's dogs Honey and Narla were much appreciated.
Very peaceful location, great for relaxing, amazing scenery, many local walks available.
We can't say enough. Gilly and Richard are great hosts. the cottage was such a wonderful base camp for our adventures in Western Cork. The Beach a short walk away was wonderful. a home away from home.

This Dunworley Cottage brought just the feel and the views of everything we were looking for in Ireland. We could take a short wonderful walk down to the Atlantic for a swim or cocktails or both. Their gourmet meal of farm to table cuisine was some of the finest I have ever had. Delivered a course at a time to our cottage with the most friendly service. A very hard combo to beat.
If you are yearning to feel like someone dropped you into the Ireland we all dream about; verdant green rolling hills that spill to a crescent beach with caves carved from timeless surf, while cows look at you with curiousity, and a stoked fire awaits you upon your return to a quintessential stone cottage...than, you have arrived at your vision of paradise. Add two of the loveliest and most accomodating hosts who set a beautiful table and provide farm fresh meals in your sweet abode and offer a generosity of spirit that ensured I didn't miss the chance to see the homestead from where my ancestor's sprang! A beautiful "angel kiss" both unexpected and extraordinary! Thank you Gilly and Richard. You made the start to our Irish adventure particularly special and saved us from navigating nightmares for the balance of our Ireland stay. The only missing piece was not having come soon enough to meet Frederick. Eileen was a gem in his stead.I am tossing a virtual stick to "Honey." She filled the void of missing my sweet Field Spanial, Chesie who is currently draped over my lap. A bit too big for a complete fit!Blessings,Fran and Mark
Fabulous week at the Coach house , good wifi , comfy beds , well stocked kitchen and a log fire. Beach 5 mins walk great for swimming. Good location to explore this fabulous countryside. Took advantage of the meals prepared by Gilly and served by Richard which were excellent. Planning again for next year Ireland road trip and will be booking again for next September - thanks Gilly and Richard
Really enjoyed this little cottage situated on a small farm. Gilly and Richard were both very accommodating and made sure everything was very comfortable. The property is in a rural location on a beautiful small farm setting. The beach( very accessible) offers a beautiful sitting area surrounded by pleasant views in every direction. A completely crowd free area which provided me with just what I needed for complete relaxation. I honestly could not have asked for a nicer situation. AAA+++
Perfect cottage down a private lane less than a 5 minute walk from the coast. Geographically ideal to get between Cork city and Bantry without having to be in the car all day. Richard and Gilly provide the right balance between privacy and availability. Highly recommended
Lovely quiet getaway in the countryside ,perfect for walking & enjoying the scenery.
Cozy cottage, lovely fireplace ,really comfy bed & lovely bed linens.
Will be back for sure!

About the host
Hosted by Gilly Murphy
We have a small garden in West Cork which we farm organically. We have two cottages on the property which we rent out.
Why they chose this property
Dunworley is somewhere that we used to visit a lot, being the most beautiful beach in Ireland! The property used to be the famous organic restaurant, Dunworley Cottage Restaurant, where we we would often eat. When it came on the market we fell in love and moved here with our family to start out own organic small holding. We couldn't resist having the most breathtaking vistas on our doorstep!
What makes this property unique
You can have a delicious gourmet dinner cooked by a professional chef.
Incomparable walks on the Seven Heads Peninsula (on the Wild Atlantic Way) with incredible views.
