Set thermostat to 75 degrees in summer, 60 degrees in winter.

Such a wonderful cabin to get away. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed siting around the fire pit every night. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was very responsive when we had questions.

Comfy cabin nestled in the woods, but close to shopping, the National Park and miles of tree lined roads for your outdoor adventures. Great wifi and cable tv for a relaxing evening in or after a snack or full meal prepared in the complete kitchen. Tastefully decorated and beds made for snuggling. Sounds of a far-off crowing rooster that could only be heard in the relaxing outdoor setting added to the country vibe.

clean, no neighbor noise......... nit picking here now. Lots of traffic noise. living room area small which is ok but seating limited and uncomfortable ... good host .... worked well for us over all ..

Regarding your rating… we are sorry the air conditioning (3 year new unit) stopped working during your stay. Unfortunately we were notified by you late afternoon on a Saturday ( your check out was Sunday). We responded promptly and made every reasonable effort to have the issue addressed as soon as possible. While we understand the inconvenience, we also accommodated your request for an early check-in, which reflects our commitment to being responsive and helpful to our guests. We don’t feel the low rating reflects our responsiveness or the overall quality of the property, as this was an unexpected mechanical issue beyond our immediate control.

Why they chose this property

We choose Bryson City as our “forever”summer home location after visiting many areas around the Smoky Mountains. Although there are many beautiful areas we enjoyed the peaceful, slow side of the Great Smokey Mountains and enjoy being on beautiful Fontana Lake in the summer with our family!

The Isabella House offers a peaceful location to slow down, and relax among the trees nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains, while only 10 minutes from the charming Hallmark mountain town of Bryson City.
