Relaxing Start to the New Year

We spend two nights at Edisto Beach and trying enjoyed learning more about the history and culture of the island. This is a great location - property is warm, clean and cozy.

Edisto Beach

Condo was very clean and spacious. It was a short walk to the beach which we really enjoyed. Kitchen was missing coffee cups and a spatula.

Convenient to the beach. Refrigerator had built in Britta that always had fresh water and had both cube and nugget ice. Pet friendly. Clean but had a slight musty smell, but that didn’t bother us overall. Carpet was some dingy. Nice porch to drink coffee on in the mornings. Overall, great few days at Edisto!

First off, the location is great and the pool access is nice. I want to add that we enjoyed both of these on our vacation despite the major issues with the condo. I would just stay away. The condo was not clean. Spiders and dust in corners, filthy air vents, ceiling fans, visible dust and dirt on surfaces. Toilets had dirty rims in the bowls, toothpaste staining still in sinks. Heavy stains on carpet and overall you could tell the property just simply has been maintained. Dryer outlet was coming out the wall and not working so you couldn't use the dryer. A major leak in one of the bathrooms that was causing the ceiling of the car port area to bust through. It was ballooned when we left and hadn't busted through, so unsure of it's state. I did reach out to the host with the issues and let them know, was met with apologetic tone and told the latest property manager didn't do a good job. Told them about ceiling and never got a response to that. Overall it's a great location, and with better property management and major updates in the future it would be a worth it stay. I would absolutely not recommend now. It was not worth the money we paid though
