Lovely Accommodations
Lovely, quiet accommodations adjacent to the main house. Bed was comfortable, sitting room was attractive and cozy, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Owner was on site and available to answer our questions. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Location outside of city of Dublin near the sea town of Bray. Host was fantastic, great communication and very informative. Hose was right next to a series of hiking trails to interesting sites and views of the Irish Sea..

Hi Michael, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. I'm glad you enjoyed Bray, the hiking trails and sea views! It was a pleasure hosting you. Daniel.
Staying at The Nook was an absolutely excellent start to our Ireland adventure. It was the perfect place for us to stay while exploring Dublin and the surrounding areas. The accommodations are perfect for two or three couples, and we found the setting in the countryside to be ideal vs. staying at a hotel in Dublin. And Daneil was great to work with. We can't wait to come back!

Hi Ron, it was an absolute pleasure hosting you. Yes, we hope to have you back soon! All the best, Daniel
The Nook is a perfect VRBO. It had everything we needed for our 6 night stay in Ireland. A bonus for sure was having the ability to wash/dry clothes. Daniel, was very efficient with communication and we had no problems with check-in and check out. The place has plenty of room and allowed us all to spread out be very comfortable.

Clean, quiet, easy accomodations for a small family
Clean, reasonably spacious for 4 adults and a 1 year old baby, well appointed for cooking. They even had a high chair and portable crib for the baby already set up for us. The location is an easy drive to the DART station and the Rathmichael woods are just outside the door and an absolutely beautiful walk. We really enjoyed our time!

Clean, secure, beautiful rental
This property is well maintained and very spacious with very gracious hosts. We enjoyed the local area around Bray as well as the easy access to the Wicklow Park region and Dublin. Train access was close by and really a nice easy way to enter Dublin. I would definitely book this location again! My only addition that would make this place absolutely perfect would be a washing machine and dryer.

Dear Kim,
I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay here with us in The Nook. We just had a a new washer and dryer installed for guests which you can use next time you come to visit!
The Nook was a fabulous stay! Daniel was very communicative during the stay. My children loved “playing” tennis every morning (in quotations because they’re three and 4 months!) relatively easy to get into Dublin if needed but we really enjoyed being outside the city. Spent a lot of time on the Bray Promenade! Would recommend for anyone with families!

Hi Lindsay, thank you so much for your review. I am glad to hear your children enjoyed playing tennis and Bray Promenade. Hope to host you again in the not-too-distant future! Daniel.
Five of us stayed at Daniel's place for a couple of nights at the end of our Ireland trip. This was easily the nicest place we stayed throughout our 2-week trip. The Nook was clean and comfortable, and (unlike every other place we stayed) had sufficient hot water for all of us to shower. The area and grounds are beautiful and the proximity to Dublin city can't be beat. Their pup Ben was an added bonus, we loved running into him and showering him with pets!
We hope to stay again on our next trip, and absolutely recommend it if you're looking for a place near Dublin!

Great stay convenient to Dublin
We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was conveniently located minutes from the train station and train ride is about 40 minutes to Connolly station. We had some difficulty initially finding the house as cell phones did not work upon arriving from U.S. Make sure owner emails you well in advance with exact directions. Otherwise house was well stocked and comfortable. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Nook even though it was a quick visit for one night. Patrick was very helpful throughout the entire experience and even let us use his personal freezer to store some items. The house was lovely along with the grounds/landscaping. The only recommendation I would make is the interior needed a little sprucing up maybe with a fresh coat of paint in a couple of the rooms.

Hi Bill, thanks for your review. It was a pleasure hosting you back in June. We have since painted some of the rooms. Hope to have you back sometime. Kind regards, Daniel
The property was even more lovely than the pictures. The rooms were very large, and the garden was beautiful. Daniel was very easy to contact, and extremely accommodating. My son got sick during the flight there, so he was gracious enough to let us check in a little early. We were a little cold, but got much cozier when we remembered to turn on the fireplace.

An attractive and spacious "nook" in beautiful surroundings just outside Dublin. For visitors with a car, the secure gated parking and easy access to the city is perfect. Communication with Daniel was quick and clear. Recommended.

Liked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
Genoten!
De locatie en het huis geweldig! Een plek om tot rust te komen... Communicatie verliep prima.

Property manager very easy to work with, even offered early check in when he knew our flight from the US arrived very early in the morning. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

Super sauber, super Kommunikation, super Service.
Alles in Allem absolut empfehlenswert 🍀

Hi Kerstin,
Thanks for your lovely words. I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. I did not realise that the heated pool was still advertised as part of this listing having taken down any photos of it and removing any mention of it in the property description. Following your review I see it was still 'ticked' under amenities so have now unticked it. I am sorry if this caused any confusion. Thanks again, it was a pleasure hosting you! Daniel
Daniel is easy to work with. Location is great. Accommodations are ideal.
