Oakville is a bright airy luxurious home, close to all amenities, shops, trains, buses. 40 minutes from Dublin City Center by train or car, 10 minutes from Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt Waterfall and gardens and 10 minutes from the beautiful Bray Seafront with a wide variety of bars, restaurants and fun beachfront activities.
Ideal for small gatherings, Stay-cations, holidays, walking retreats, special occasions, birthdays, wedding parties. Not for wild parties or large gatherings
The space
Niall and I live on the same grounds as the property and are happy to help you with any special requests you may have, arrange day spas, restaurant bookings, just tell us what you are planning when you make your initial enquiry and we can take it from there.
We can provide cooked breakfast, canapes and bubbles or leave you completely to your own devices.
For those planning a Stay-cation we are happy to prepare and cook your meals, again we can discuss specific requirements and plan for you.
Nightly rate based on 4 sharing with an additional nightly rate per guest up to a max of 10.

Nikki & Niall’s home is located in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, known as the garden of Ireland, a beautiful seaside town. Oakville is a bright, airy luxurious home close to all amenities, shops, trains, buses. 40 minutes from Dublin City Center by train or car, 10 minutes from Wicklow Mountains , Powerscourt Waterfall and gardens and 10 minutes from the beautiful Bray Seafront with a wide variety of bars, restaurants and fun beachfront activities. Private secure accomodation. Mountain Views, renowned walks on the doorstep, Glendalough lakes and monastery 30 mins drive. Golf courses & many beaches close by.

Bray and its surrounds has also been host to many famous actors and film locations such as, Braveheart, PS I Love You, My Left Foot, Far & Away, The Tudors, Disney's Disenchanted to name but a few. Famous residents of Bray and the area include Bono, Hozier, Eddie Jordan, Sinead O'Connor, Katie Taylor. Oscar WIlde, James Joyce and Arthur Conan Doyle lived here once upon a time, the list goes on...

The Bus stop is located 1 minute from our home and the train station is 10 minutes walking. Buses and trains (D.A.R.T) run regularly to and from Dublin City. Guests are welcome to leave their cars parked at the house to avoid traffic and parking in the City.
Aircoach 702 Dublin Airport to Greystones direct route leaves guests at the Wilton Hotel stop which is 7 mins walk from the house, the Aircoach runs every 2 hours and takes approx. 1 hr 40 mins to Bray.

Great Location! Great Home!

The home was beautiful and the hosts were very responsive. The beach is just a short walk away. The home was very clean and comfortable. Just wish it had a proper living room with a sofa.

Lovely stay in Bray

We really enjoyed our stay in Bray. The house was wonderful and as advertised. Location was very convenient - walkable to the seafront as well as the city centre. Nikki was a great host!

Great Host, Gorgeous House

It was perfect. Gorgeous house with big kitchen and loads of amenities. Hosts were excellent and welcoming. Great home base for our travels and would certainly recommend.

Really nice place in Bray

We stayed here when my friends/family came to town for an American football game in Dublin. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and the house was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed seeing Bray and it was super easy to get up to Dublin via train (and we even went further up the coast to see other fun coastal towns).

Searching for Ancestors

We enjoyed all the room to spread out in this comfortable house. We were pleased to have a grocery store within walking distance as well as a bus stop and train station. Having Neal guide us through the house and the surrounding town was outstanding. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! Our family used Oakville as a staging home prior to our daughter's wedding in Enniskerry later in the week. The home is clean, convenient and spacious for the five family members, Nikki was great! Her communication and flexibility with our respective travel schedules was very much appreciated. We hope to visit Bray again in the future and, if we do, we will stay at Oakville. Thanks Nikki and Niall! Joe B

Great place for a group close to DART for easy Dublin access

This was a nice place with very helpful and responsive hosts. We didn't spend much time in the VRBO because our schedule was so packed but it was a nice quiet place to sleep. The utilities were a bit challenging as you had to coordinate with others in the group to get hot showers. Overall it was a nice stay with very nice hosts.

Wonderful Bray

The location is perfect for exploring Bray. We were able to enjoy the harbour bar, and Martello. The house was extremely well equipped, clean and tidy. It was also comfy and welcoming. Nikki was a great host and could not do enough for us. Well worth a visit

Beautiful House, Beautiful town Bray, Wonderful hosts

This house is gorgeous, spotlessly clean, has everything one could possibly need with its fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and the hosts Nikki and Niall are wonderful, kind, and warm people. The interior design of the house is stunning. The house location is outstanding: it is quiet and very private, yet It is close to everything—the sea, Bray and its terrific restaurants, the DART train, mountains, nature walks, and Dublin! We have never felt more delighted and happy with a rental. Highly recommended without reservation.

Bray in summer

Everything has working. Also the weather was organised very fine (for Irland absolutelly fine). Some small things we missed. But with a party of eight you has no possibilty to give everybody 100%. So many thanks for all one mote time - Wolfgang.

Wonderful house to have as home base for our stay.

We stayed in Nikki and Niall's home for the 10 days we were exploring the beauties of Ireland. The home was all that it was advertised as. It was clean, the check in process was simple and both Nikki and Niall who live on the property were very easy to work with and to let us know of the hidden gems of Ireland and how to get around. Nikki and Niall made us a traditional Irish breakfast on one morning that you should not miss out on. It was incredible and I didn't eat the rest of the day! 5 stars all the way around! Thank you to the both of you.

Loved our 3 days

The house is well equipped and has lots of great bedrooms, with lots of storage cabinets, shelves, etc. Beds were extremely comfortable. House is modern, kitchen is fully stocked. We walked to the train station (23 minutes) and went to Dublin. Much better way to travel then driving in the city traffic and trying to find easily accessible parking. Nikki and Niall were so pleasant and were available for check-in and provided an excellent introduction to the house. A great experience for our 3 day stay.
