The unit was good for 10-12 people like was stated. The kitchen stocking left something to be desired. There was only 2 spoons, 4 forks and 5-6 butter knives for 10 people to use. The refrigerator was missing all of the shelves on the door which made the rest of the refrigerator section very crowded. The description stated there was a gas grill and when we tried to light it only one burner worked and after further investigation we realized the burner tube was completly rusted out between the other 2 burners not allowing the gas to reach the other 2 burners. There was also only 5 wash cloths and 1 dish towel for our stay. Other than the issues noted it served our group of 10 people pretty well. Just needs to have the items mentioned attended too and we would have no problem staying in this unit again.

Everything about the property was awesome. 100% full service they even came and cleaned the pool and pulled out the trash bins twice while we were there. Would love to stay here again.

We recently stayed at this amazing VRBO in Port Aransas, Texas with our family and had the best time. The home was beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing together. The location was great, close to the beach and everything we needed, and the whole place just had such a peaceful, vacation vibe. We made so many sweet family memories there.The private pool was a huge hit with everyone, especially the kids. The only downside is having to pay an extra 60 a day to heat the pool, which felt a little unexpected so we decided to not have the pool heated. But overall, our experience was wonderful and we would absolutely stay here again.Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing getaway in Port A!

What a beautiful home !! Just a short golf cart ride to beach and restaurants. The pool was perfect for us adults and our grandchildren. I cannot say enough how nuch we enjoyed staying at Off Da Hook. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.

The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of room, close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Everyone had a wonderful time Loved the pool.

Very satified with location, I have a 1 year. Loved the pool and depth. Overall everything was great

Loved every day. Nothing to complain about. We had children of all ages and we all felt safe with location and pool area.

Quick stay

Everything was really clean. A very enjoyable experience. The only thing that seamed out of place was the pool heter had to be on because the pool felt like a hot tub. Not my thing in the middle of summer. Other than that its an awesome place to stay.

Air conditioning was not cooling in the main part of the house, ac guy out twice, refrigerator was broken they did not replace they brought us dry ice, no towels, dirty tissue next to bed, no pillowcase, other bedroom comforters soiled, kitchen drawers filthy dirty, bathroom floor was filthy, poolWas dirty and hot, pool service was called they put chemicals in the pool, we could not use the pool the first night, food left on pool deck, barbecue grill badly worked and was filthy, grease all over the patio underneath the grill, this home should not be rented until cleaned and maintained, this place was a nightmare.Management stated they would refund 100 dollars of 1500 I told them to keep it!Could be a nice rental but they don’t give a damn

Family Beach Trip

The house has an awesome layout and in a great location close to the beach. Our only issue was that the front door knob was broken and rusted on the inside. We contacted the mgmt and they sent someone to fix it but they put some kind of glue on it but it did not stay together which made locking the door when we left or getting in or out tricky

Yearly Family Vacation

We come to Port A every summer to get away for a little. This house was a 10-15 min walk to the beach, not horrible at all. The pool was nice to have for the older kids while the littles had to come home and relax/nap. The pool being heated was also great for the littles. The open concept was great for family interaction. The only negatives would be the living room gets a little hot. (There are a couple portable fans in one or two of the rooms) and the door knob going into the house was loose and tended to keep spinning unless you pushed it in and turned it.

Short but Sweet

My husband and I spent Spring Break here with my 17 yo daughter and 3 of her friends. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Kitchen was well appointed. Loved the big kitchen table, but were confused by the short stools at counter. If they were extended up, they seemed unstable. Loved that a giant cooler was there to use, Refrigerator door shelves were all broken, but wasn't a big problem. Location was pretty good. Close to "downtown" and not too far from beach. Right behind the Sonic, so I was able to make my daily Sonic run easily. We were only there for 3 days but enjoyed our time.
