Unfortunately this was a nightmare. We had almost zero contact with the property manager. I reached out as soon as I booked the property (months before our stay) and did not hear back until a few days before our arrival. I received a vague response to my questions. We were actually nervous we would never receive a code to enter the house when we arrived. His number on file and the number the vrbo employees have is not in service. Once there, the utensils and the glasses in the cabinets were dirty. The rest of the house was clean. Could not use most of the ceiling fans in the house because the batteries in the remotes were dead or missing. We did lose power our third night which was no fault of the property manager, but when I reached out about it I did not receive a response until 12 hours later. It would have been helpful to hear from him letting me know when the power company let him know the power would be back, especially because we were traveling with babies. Lastly, and probably the most horrible, the lock pad to get into the house our last night died. This meant we were locked out and again, wasn’t even acknowledged when I sent a frantic message to the host. The next day we did not get any check out information. Whoever is running this place must have no idea how to manage the property because not communicating the paying customer is extremely unprofessional.
