Our host, Missy saw how many people were staying with us, and upgraded us to her larger property with a second bathroom at no extra cost. She was such a thoughtful host and we had a great stay! My kids loved the park across the street!
Unfortunately we only stayed one of the two nights we booked. On our first night, while having a glass of wine on the front porch, we kept getting distracted by the noise of the intercom from the security camera. We could hear our host watching tv in the background with the intercom on. It kind of creeped everyone out, so while we were out there, I just stood in front of the camera. After about 30 seconds of this, our host came over the intercom and told me to move away from the camera, to which I replied "why?"We moved inside shortly after and my phone started blowing up with text and vrbo messages from the host, telling me that it was an automated voice telling me to move from the camera (it wasn't; we have the same cameras at home) and that if I tampered with the camera (I didn't touch it) that I'd be charged an absorbadent fee. She then sent me a video clip of us standing on the porch for some reason.Vrbo standards clearly state that any camera located on a rental property must be disclosed in the listing. It wasn't.Furthermore, the listing ameneties included a hot tub which wasn't operational but instead covered with a tarp filled with rainwater and dead leaves. We slept on it that night, but when we woke up on the second day, we looked around and found other lodging. In short, someone who exercises this level of surveillance and scrutiny over their guests simply shouldn't list their house for short-term rentals.
We loved staying here after a long drive from Nashville. Traffic got us in late so we didnt get to enjoy all the amenities. Will definitely come back here with our family.

Disliked: Location
House is nice, but small
The property is nice, small but we knew that. The property manager is not the owner, but the tenant. She borderline harasses you the entire stay. I think it's well meaning, making sure everything is good. But it was hard to enjoy our time with the host texting me every 30-60 minutes. We left the property clean and in perfect condition. The host was upset we moved the coffee table slightly over because it was too close to the couch. After checkout, she demanded to know where I lived and if I was local because "I knew where she lived." She made me extremely uncomfortable with the barrage of texts afterwards. I wouldn't recommend this property because the host doesn't seem 100% comfortable with people staying in a place she actively lives. She doesn't seem to know how to do deal with short term stay tenants. Overall property is nice but not a great neighborhood. Houses on the street have a lot of hoarding situations in the front yard. The host I wouldn't recommend, either.

What makes this property unique
Lots of real plants that release fresh oxygen. Home is personal and has extra touches that basic other short term rentals do not offer. Board games. Fire pit. Hot tub
