We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and the owners provided everything we needed and more. We were in town for family weekend at Roanoke College and the location was perfect. We would love to stay here again next time we are in town.

The home was one of the nicest we have stayed in. The host was very accommodating and offered his help several times to make sure the stay was easy and comfortable. The winter weather came in and cut the trip and stay short. But, we do come to this area once a year and hope to book again. My husband took a group up for a conference and they were very complimentary of the comfort and beauty of the home.

What a great stay! Communication was fantastic and this house had everything we needed. The split room layout worked so well for us early birds so we didn’t disrupt whoever wanted to sleep in. All appliances worked, the couch and beds were comfy and having a little fenced in area was nice for our dog to watch the birds and squirrels without fear she would run off. We even got out to some trails nearby for some hiking. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Retreat

This Vrbo rental was a true gem! We were incredibly impressed by the beautiful, spacious rooms and awesome master suite. The lovely grounds and outdoor space added to the charm and the location was perfect. One of us did not have hot water when it was needed but the host responded immediately and resolved the issue. A fantastic stay overall.

I absolutely loved the home. It was beautifully decorated and very well stocked for any issue. Our only issue were the beds. They were very uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was a dream vacation.

Star City Gem near Trailhead

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to cook our meals. The back screened porch was an extra gathering area to hang out and talk about the highlights of plays after we got in from our softball tournament. This area was also equipped with a big screened TV. It was really nice. The house was very clean and well decorated. We will definitely consider staying again

The property was excellent! The online photos do not do it justice. It was clean inside and out. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary utensils, cutlery, glassware and cookware. The host even supplied coffee and tea as well as toiletries and those little items you sometimes forget when packing i.e. toothpaste, toothbrushes etc.It was far enough away from Roanoke to give you that mountain feel, but close enough to allow you to enjoy the restaurants and bars downtown. If you are a hiker the trails were 5 minutes away.The host was responsive throughout the booking process, check-in, and during the stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, and will surely be back!
