Casa Mao-Cheia , Magnificent views over Sea and Mountains
Apartment located in a quiet location, only 15 min drive to Calheta and shops, 30 minutes from Funchal and 40 minutes from the airport.
It is ideally located for touring the island, with easy access to the North and its fabulous landscapes via Ribeira Brava. Porto Moniz and its natural swimming pools in the East are only 35 minutes away. Big game fishing and dolphin watching from the Calheta Marina.
The terrace of the house offers a fabulous view of the ocean and mountains. Just above the apartment is a snack bar where you can taste the famous Poncha of Madeira and madeirian snacks.
Depending on the time you visit us you can assist to religious celebrations or to various events on the island, like Christmas, New Years Eve, Carnival, Flower Party...
