Guest violated the house rules, did unauthorized party bringing in 20 guests. She misrepresented on the booking as 4 guests.

undersupplied and not accurate

House was clean but very under supplied. Not enough dishes, silverware, cups for the "12" that could supposedly could stay there. 2 bathrooms not one (pleasant surprise) but worse stocked house I have ever been in.And not enough beds to sleep 12. 4 beds does not make enough for 12. Disappointed. Glad that we only stayed one night. Would not rent again.

Positive, location was very good. Close to NYC, Neighborhood felt safe. After that the house was not charming. There was only 4 towels in the house. It appeared it had been some time since the last rental. There was leftover trash from last occupants. Empty food container in cupboard. Full beer left in freezer, cant believe it did not explode. The kitchen utinciles were few and what was there was dirty and needed to be washed. Went to Walmart to purchase some cleaning supplies. The yard was very unkept. Trash on side yard and under porch. Back screen door was broken. Let host know right away. Sent pics to show condition. Response was, yes yard could use some attention. If we had other options we would canceled this after first day. Would not recommend this property.

The guest did no stay at this property. As we had some maintenance issue the guest was offered alternate property for stay. We tried our best to accommodate the guest with alternate location at the last moment.

Hairy towels and hard beds

When we got to the house the windows had been left open and there were mosquitos and other bugs flying around. The towels left were full of hair luckily we had a few towels with us. The beds were very firm in both rooms. There are 2 bedrooms with 1 bed in each room (listing says there are more beds than there are but we figured that out by looking at the pictures online) and 2 foam coaches that can be made into beds.The beds only had a flat sheet as the bottom sheet and no top sheet. There was also hair on the mattress protector underneath of the topsheet.

The guest did not stay at this property. The guest was offered an alternate property due to a maintenance issue that he didn't like, and the full amount of the booking was refunded to the guest
