Beautiful area and place, being in the industry for more than 30 years … the place need TLC and change A/C units so you could safe light..the guest room had no sheets and floor needs better cleaning..the pool was perfect and if you want to chill by the beach the spot.

Great condo with a beautiful view

Everything was great for our stay. We stayed a month. Condo had most everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked good. Condo was clean and check in went smoothly which was great because we arrived at 4 am it was wonderful waking up to that beautiful view everyday. Communication with the host was also great they responded quickly to any thing we needed. Would definitely stay again.

THE COUCH IN THE LIVING ROOM WAS WICKER PATIO FURNITURE. THE PADDING WAS 3" AND FELT LIKE SITTING ON NOTHING. THE CUSHIONS WERE STAINED AND DID NOT EXTEND TO THE TOP OF THE THE BACK REST. IT WAS ALSO IN SECTIONS, SO IF YOU ATTEMPTED TO LAY DOWN IT WOULD SEPARATE. THE WORST BED BUG INFESTATION I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I HAD TO VISIT THE CLINIC IN MAYAGUEZ AFTER BEING BITTEN SO MANY TIMES BY DAY 2. I THOUGHT IT WAS MOSQUITOS OR EVEN ANTS BUT THE CLINIC CONFIRMED IT WAS BED BUGS. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS DID NOT OVERCOME THE BED BUGS OR FURNITURE THAT YOU COULD NOT RELAX ON. THE POOL WAS DIRTY AND FILLED WITH BUGS. IT WAS NOT CLEANED 1 TIME AND WE WERE THERE 7 DAYS.

ill maintained and poor management

First of all, display pictures not of this unit. Stop faking wrong images. Second, instruction on how to open keylock was given in text, but were not told there will be 30+ keylock to choose from and find the one that is of your unit. Third, if you are expecting guest then someone should have turned on main water line. Guest are not supposed to find main water valve and turned it in middle of the night. Fourth, one of the room was next to hallway and no curtain was hung. Everything was see through. Had to request manager multiple attempts for curtain. Finally the curtain arrives 4 days later. Fifth, living room AC was out of service from long time. Living room was like a toaster oven. Requested to fix the AC but was never fixed. Sixth, bed was made but sheet was not changed. Hair strands, blood tint were easy to spot on the bed sheet. Bath tub were dirty as well. Management pretended like they are working and taking seriously. Easy enough to know they are not serious about proper management, cleaning and decorations. Still have all the pictures proof saved but VRBO don't have option to upload pics.

Owners to be aware of their property status.

#1 Gaining entry was a disaster. There is a gate across the road from the property. which had around 10 realtor locks. one identified the apartment. This meant that in the dark (7:22 pm) we had to figure this out. I contacted Alex via text. It took more than an hour for him to respond. Some one was sent over who didn't know either which padlock it was either so he gave us his spare keys. #2 We checked everything when we entered and found that the shower curtain in one of the bathrooms was black with mold, two closets in the master bedroom one had sliding doors off the tracks and the other had a tv and a toilet seat box in it. so they were using closets as storage. #3 The couch seating (patio furniture) was stained and not clean. Usually the covers can come off & be washed but this obviously had never been done. #4 The microwave was not working. I notified Alex and four days later they sent someone to deliver a new microwave and shower liners. #5 the place lists upon it's amenities an iron, I could not find one there. I forwarded this info to Alex and his replies were not the nicest. For example the microwave reply "well it was working before," Trying to gain entry to the location his reply was "Look in your prior text, I sent it days ago." I really don't think this is the proper way to respond to clients. Said he was talking to his partner about a discount. Never happened.The apartment is great but owners need to step up. Could be better. I have pictures of everything.

Wouldn't stay here again

My family and I stood in this condo in May 2022’, and wanted to write an honest review, so that you are prepared when staying in this condo. First, despite the pictures it is not close or walking distance to the beach. There is a pool on the premises however it was not cleaned on a daily basis. Upon arriving on the premises, the manager (Alex) that my mom was in communication with, only told my mom that the keys to the condo were in a lock box, however gave no description of the lock box and there were 8 other lock boxes where he described the lock box would be. I called him and got no answer. I left him a voicemail and texted me back after about an hour. After taking a flight and driving almost 3 hours we had to struggle for approximately an hour trying to figure out which lock box it was and trying to figure out the keys for the gate. There were two condo buildings, and it was not clear which building it was. After going to the wrong building and trying all the keys, my mother and I stated lets try the other building. Upon entering the condo, there is a gate and then the door, but it is hard to figure out initially. You should be key savvy when staying here. Upon finally entering the condo the view was beautiful, however there was no book identifying local restaurants, watering holes, or places and things to do. There was also no living room furniture, it was hard patio furniture. The furniture on the balcony was more comfortable than the actual living room furniture, it was very hard and extremely uncomfortable. When I entered the bathroom, there was half of a roll of toilet paper left and none left to be found in the apartment. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure in the bathrooms was reasonable. Overall the complex is quiet and mostly empty except for the weekends. I definitely would never stay here again. Save yourself and don’t book here.

Paisaje hermoso !

El lugar es callado y céntrico. Está localizado cerca de la playa Combate (6 min en carro), yo caminaba la playa todas las mañana me tomaba una hora y media. El apartamento es limpio, algunas cosas del apartamento necesitan reparaciones, sin embargo no es un obstáculo a su estadía. La vista del lugar es muy bonita, desde el balcón pueden disfrutar de un paisaje hermoso. Si desea caminar una sección de la playa cerca del edificio puede hacerlo, pero solo para observarla. La playa El combate es hermosa y tranquila. Yo volvería a quedarme en el apartamento. Muchas gracias !

Wonderful location

We did enjoy staying in this property! Amazing location with super view! You will need car going around, but most wonderful beach, hiking by light house is only 6-8 miles away. Of course, as every place (even your own house) could be cleaner or furniture updated, but we ignored and enjoyed beautiful balcony view and wine! Some additional instructions would be grate - how to use tv for example...😁 Coming back some day!

Potential but, needs some effort

I read the previous reviews and saw the average of 4 stars, that’s why I booked. The location was very clean and had basic/Spartan comforts, the views were amazing, it was quiet and out of the way from the town. The property manager was helpful and always available for question and to assist. We were stayed here during COVID and want to be able to cook and eat at home. The owners and property manager do not communicate the elevator, for this fourth floor apartment, has been out of order for quite some time and that was not communicated to us as one of us is still recovering from ankle surgery. It’s clear that the owner never stay in the unit, as basic item would be obvious to anyone who actually spend a couple of days in the unit. It is shocking that the owners do not read reviews!! A previous guest had made some very valuable suggestions and I assumed that they were addressed as I would have taken that valuable info and made some changes! This two bedroom condo: 1)10 hangers total, so cheap to buy hangers for guests. 2) No bath mats or area rugs,3) No bedroom furniture except a bed and nightstand, no place to put clothes or even put your suitcase. 4) The only living room furniture is an OUTDOOR sectional worn and very uncomfortable 6) The kitchen. No basic supplies, No salt and pepper or any basic kitchen supplies. No storage containers, no paper or plastic products. We had to buy storage containers, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags. We drank orange juice out of a coffee mug, no baking sheets, we had to buy disposable, the wine opener was broken so we had to buy one. Two bedroom condo had two single non-matching wine glasses. No mixing bowls or serving dishes. No small plates, we uses a bowl to serve butter or a side dish. The Teflon frying pans are all scratched up, not safe at all! Create a book of instruction for your guests when they arrive!! It would make navigating this very out of the way locations more accessible. It was difficult to find dinner that first night as well, some basic instructions and suggestions would have been much appreciated. This property has potential to be something nice in the future. Having the owners spend a little time and money (listening to constructive reviews, not waiting for the bad reviews) making the entire space functional and offer some basic supplies would make a huge difference. I would stay here again if and only if the owners start to read reviews and take them seriously.

The condo was clean, but the furniture dated and a compilation of used items that did not match at all. The couch is worn outdoor furniture. The service guy, Jimmy, was pleasant and willing to help out. This place has potential as it has a great view, but it needs to be better appointed.

Beautiful ocean view condo, quiet, clean - escape from tourists and crowds!

The condo is great - clean, spacious, great views, perched up on a hill surrounded by green space, with a well maintained pool, and there were only a couple other people staying between 3 condo buildings! If you want to escape the crowds and tourists, and feel like you have an enormous gorgeous beach to yourself, this is the place. We loved being in a place where there are no McDonalds or other national chains, and we want to go back again.
