Welcome to 87 Moorings! With an open concept floor plan, multiple balconies and lux furnishings, this 2nd floor flat is an easy choice for your next Hilton Head vacation!

The living area offers plush furniture, a Smart TV and a dining area beyond. The dining table seats 6 with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Guests have access to two balconies from the living area, as well as both bedrooms.

The well-appointed kitchen features stainless appliances, granite counters and plenty of cabinet space. Beyond the kitchen, you'll find a laundry area within a full size bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The main suite features a king bed, a Smart TV, balcony access and a luxurious private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The guest suite features two queen beds, a Smart TV and a renovated private bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

For rentals in Hilton Head Island, the Moorings complex in Palmetto Dunes Resort is very close to the beach and features an on-site pool open April through September. The Moorings complex is not equipped with elevators. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.

Palmetto Dunes is an oceanfront resort on Hilton Head Island that stretches from the 3 miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under the William Hilton Parkway that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina and Towne Centre.

Located mid-island on 2,000 acres of lush island landscapes, Palmetto Dunes boasts one of the East Coast's premiere beaches, championship golf and tennis, and miles of bike and walking trails in a tranquil setting. Discover a plethora of world-class shops and restaurants at Shelter Cove, colorful yachts anchored in the marina and a beachfront bar and restaurant at Dunes House, all easily accessed by the free Dunes Buggy shuttle service in the summer season.

Palmetto Dunes is a secured community, please specify the number of security gate passes that are needed at the time of booking your reservation. Passes are charged per car per week.

Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

This condo is just as described. So close to the beach, the Dunes House restaurant, the general store, biking everywhere. The location is everything. The condo was well equipped, needs were comfy and rooms had enough space. We plan on coming back to this same rental next year!

Weekend at the Beach

Pros: The location of this property couldn’t be better. Only the parking lot separated the condo from the beach. The condo is in a beautiful neighborhood. Supermarkets and restaurants were a short drive away. There was plenty of space for our family of 4. The kids’ room was on the other side of the condo so there was lots of privacy. The master bed was incredibly comfortable. The water temperature and pressure in the shower was perfect Cons: Bedroom TV was a Fire TV and there were no instructions for use. After a very long time, I was able to connect to my Netflix account. The other 2 TVs worked with a lot of trial and error. With multiple remotes, instructions for use would have been helpful. The toilet/shower room is as small as they come. When on the toilet, you can touch the shower and opposite wall with your elbows and the door with your feet. Once in the shower, it was very comfortable. The kitchen was nice, but counter space was tight because there is no pantry. The silverware, glasses, cups and pots/pans could stand to replaced as they appeared to be a random assortment gathered at a thrift store. Note: The condo is at the top of 3 flights of stairs. There is no elevator access. Overall: It was a very pleasant stay and we would certainly recommend it for beach getaway.
