Loved this home and the owners who live next door and provide special touches to make this place a magical getaway. The house was spotlessly clean. The screened in porch off the living room makes the lakefront setting wonderful at any time of year. The kitchen has all the basics you need and more. The beds are comfortable and the linens and towels are good quality. The kayaks made for a special experience on the lake one misty morning. There are lake views from all 3 bedrooms as well as the kitchen and living room. The owners communicated well. I highly recommend staying here!
The house is brand new and beautiful throughout. The upstairs bedrooms and bath are very nice. The ground floor master bedroom is wonderful, with a large closet, en suite bathroom, and slider door to an open deck with a gorgeous view (which included a bald eagle who visited on two separate days). The kitchen is lovely and very well appointed. My favorite space was the large screened-in porch looking out over Great Pond. Despite a bit of chill in the air (it was the last week of October and first week of November), I spent a great deal of time out there and would have loved to spend even more! The living/dining room area was comfortable, though the high windows could use curtains to block the late morning/early afternoon sun. That is the only criticism I could lay on the property, and even that's so minor that I wouldn't hesitate to stay again without it being addressed. The owners were very communicative and helpful without being at all intrusive. All in all, Lakeside at Sunset Point is an absolute 10/10, and I hope to visit again next year!

Christopher: Thank you so much for your lovely review and the pictures. Seeing a bald eagle always feels very special. This year, we also were lucky to have two baby loons on the lake. We would always welcome you back. Sincerely, Nancy and Dan, Lakeside at Sunset Point
