An easy drive to baseball—amazing home!I travel a lot for work and just in general and, I think this house is my favorite place I have ever stayed. It is absolutely beautiful and the views are magical. It’s so cozy and welcoming and forces you to relax. We are going to try and rebook in the fall —loved it so much!

Aw shucks! Thank you Kelly! We are so glad that you enjoyed the property. We'd love to see you again.
The host was super responsive, leading up to the trip and the home more than exceeded our expectations. We were a little nervous about the 24 minute drive to All-Star Village as our son was playing in a weeklong baseball tournament, but the drive was 24 minutes as promised and the scenic drive was a great way to gear up and wind down after long days at the field. This home is well preserved and it proved to be a place of respite and restoration for our family.
What a lovely property! If you like renovated old farm houses this is the place for you! We wished we had more time to enjoy the porch, pond, and view.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. You are more than welcome back anytime!
This house is beautiful. All the furniture is high quality antiques. The house is very clean and everything is decorated well. There are several nice baths with soaps and other amenities. The sleeping porch is a very cool feature. The entire property is very nice and well maintained! We would certainly look to stay here again.

Thanks for you kind words, Colin! We are so glad that you appreciated the house and hope your stay was enjoyable.
Such a lovely home with so many beautiful touches. The swing bed on the screened in porch was the best; looking over the thoughtfully designed gardens and pond. The home was clean and hosts expectations were very clear. Our dog too was welcome and able to share the experience with us.
One of the best! This exquisitely decorated antique was a perfect respite from the Cooperstown chaos. Just 24 minutes from All Star Village; we could relax on the giant screened in porch or bring a few boys back for a dip in the cool pond. The owners live near by and are kind, helpful and quick to respond. Beats surrounding hotels by a long shot. We will be back for coffee on that fabulous porch!

Thanks, Susannah! it was great to meet you and Kent. You were fabulous guests and we hope to see you again!
My family and I recently stayed at the Turnpike House for my son's Cooperstown Tournament at All Star Village. The property was absolutely stunning, and offered us a peaceful resting place after many busy days at the fields. Everything in the house is top-notch, and the attention to detail the owners have taken to make it a beautiful home shine through in every corner. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
