Perfect location, wonderful for 2 couples, love that it is dog friendly. The host, John, was great. Bigger residence than I though it would be. Walking distance to everything and a short stroll to the Elora Mill Inn & Spa but a fraction of the price with way more amenities.

This property was a perfect location for our family. We were in Elora to see a show at the Drayton Festival Theatre but we did so much more because we could walk out to get food, hike and shop.

It was a great stay. They were quickly on top on check in and checkout. It was easy and quick. Communication is 5 stars. Lots of kitchen items, coffee stuff, plenty of blankets. The living room pull out couch was perfect as a 3rd bedroom. Lots of Tv Channels. Wifi was 100%. Only thing I would let people know is that: 1. it’s a basement apartment so it can be a little musty. Temporarily open a window and it’s fine. 2. You have your own lock for your outside basement apartment door, but the cleaner lets themselves in to do laundry in your entranceway. There is no lock between the entranceway and your apartment, so once the cleaner uses the washing machine and dryer, there is no lock preventing entrance to your apartment. Owner said he will look into adding a lock to the other door so you can secure your apartment from the laundry facilities. It gets 5 stars for location. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! :). There’s a bakery and icecream place attached to your apartment, so easy to find snacks. Overall it’s a great apartment. Perfect location. Parking is easy and lots of it. You can walk everywhere. Go to the gorge. Walk to restaurants.There’s an LCBO across the road from the apartments. Lots of kitchen items. Coffee maker and coffee available. Lots of cleaning supplies. Maybe bring some ear plugs if the apartment upstairs is being rented. We went when there was a wedding and we heard every footstep of the people above us renting other apartments.

Everything was within walking distance. Lots of restaurants, unique shops, Halloween decor, LCBO & more. Our large dog was welcome and there was an area for her needs. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, every room had a TV. We were pleased with our stay.

Came for Mother’s Day for one night with the family and it was perfect! Lots of space, had everything we need, and attached to an ice cream shop! Super close to downtown walking distance to everything. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

This is a beautiful property and an excellent apartment. It had absolutely everything we needed.It is incredibly spacious and comfortable, we couldn’t believe the size of this space. It is only one block from downtown in a beautiful picturesque setting. Communication with John was prompt and so easy, clear concise instructions on everything.I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it.

Great clean property very close to “downtown” Elora. Parking may seem to be an issue but there is free public parking across the street next to lcbo. As an additional bonus it is a very cool liquor store.

Family wedding

We stayed at the gingerbread house for a family wedding. John was super nice and flexible with our check in time which was greatly appreciated as it allowed us to get ready for a formal wedding and still have a bit of time to unwind after our drive. The home was charming, quaint, very comfortable, and we would definitely stay there again.

The host was very welcoming and gave clear, easy to understand instructions on how to access the unit. The location is excellent for exploring Elora. The apartment was very similar to the photos and clean. We only used the one bedroom with the king bed during our stay and it was very comfortable. You could hear the unit upstairs if they were walking around or talking loudly. The curtains were not blackout in the bedroom so it was very light early in the morning. There was also a small light on the outlet in the bedroom that wouldnt turn off and therefore it was like sleeping with a night light on. Very much appreciated that the unit was pet friendly and we could bring our dogs with us.

Excellent stay!

First time using a property for a stay that wasn't a hotel. Very pleased with the experience! Unit was very clean and welcoming. John made the checkin very easy for this very inexperienced and tech challenged girl. Lol. Thank you John! Would definitely recommend this unit if you are looking to visit Elora!

If you are tall you will have an issue with doorways and the shower. My husband is 6’5” and my son is 6’7”, they hit their heads numerous of times on doorways and in the bathroom.
