This is a beautiful house it's just as described it has everything you need it is in a great location just far enough away from town to be quiet and peaceful we loved it and definitely will come back

Extremely nice! One of the best rentals on the island. The great-room with the well-furnished kitchen, dining, and living area opened to a wonderful deck overlooking the bay. This house is new, clean, and fabulous for hosting a family gathering!

My friends and I have all stayed in many VRBO properties and we all agree this was one of the very best.Super clean and in excellent condition. We were impressed by the quality of furniture, beds, kitchen wares and even decorations.Next trip to Cedar Key we will book this again for sure.

Absolutely amazing house to stay in, well insulated for cooler weather. The Management Company is very very responsive and a source of good information on Cedar Key. The house was clean, sheets were clean and everyone enjoyed staying there. My family and I will stay at this house again if we come back to Cedar Key. The Management Company made excellent suggestions on restaurants and shopping. So very easy to work with them, a true pleasure. Five Stars well deserved!

The Perfect House

The property is beautiful and seemed as if we were the first to even stay in it. The view of the bay is phenomenal and it is close to everything downtown. We did not have kids with our party but the bunk rooms are set up perfectly for multiple familes with kids. We will be staying here again when return to the area.

Whispering Waves was the perfect place for us during our stay. We were there for our son’s wedding and needed a place that gave us space to work on decorations, accommodated guests as they stopped by to say hello, and acted as a refuge from lots of busy days. Whispering Waves checked all of the boxes. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed! We were cooking all week and did not lack for anything…except a Bundt pan for baking Monkey Bread. (That was a special Wedding Day brunch request from my son.) There are lots of plates, glasses, and plenty of flatware. Most of our party found the beds to be comfortable, while some found them to be a little too soft. Everyone took advantage of the plethora of patios around the house. There were many conversations had while looking out over the Bayou and watching the fish jump. I did have one concern. I originally booked this space because I knew that we would have a large number of people staying with us, two of whom would be my mother and her husband, who are both older and not as mobile as they used to be. My mother struggles with lung issues and breathing can be difficult. I saw that this house had an Accessible room and thought that would be the perfect place for my mother and her husband to stay. The caveat is that the “Accessible” room is on the 3rd floor and requires climbing three flights of stairs to reach. There is a luggage lift, but that is unavailable to guests, and is marked for luggage, not people.

Perfect for larger groups

We loved our stay at Whispering Waves! One of the best stocked rentals for amenities we've encountered yet! The view of the water was wonderful and for our 4th CK visit was it's usual relaxing vacation. First time visiting friends of ours also loved the house & the area. The place was very clean, comfortable as well as lovely. Just make sure you are traveling with someone who can lug heavy coolers / luggage up lots of stairs.
