What a lovely place to spend the weekend. Every amenity you need! The walking distance to the downtown is perfect. Decor and general vibe are on point. We would book again in a heartbeat. Best communication from your gracious host is a huge plus too.

Charming weekend get away

The apartment was clean and so beautiful decorated. Walking distance from downtown area. Jeanann is the hostess with mostest, she was so accommodating with us while preparing for my daughter’s wedding.

Great second Floor Apartment

This place is perfect for 2-3 people. It is nicely decorated and has everything you need. It is just a couple of blocks from downtown Alma and Alma College. The host is very responsive and helpful.

Nice quiet house close to downtown

Jeanann was a wonderful host. Very quick to respond and gave us restaurant suggestions for the area. The home is completely new inside and nicely decorated. The appliances are all top notch. The downtown is about a two minute walk and there are many dining options. These restaurants are unique to the area, not chain restaurants. The next time we are in the area will certainly stay here again. Thank you Jeanann.

Clean! Comfortable! Quiet! Nicely decorated! Would have been nice to have had a some kind of personal contact on our arrival. It was a beautiful kitchen, but no table to sit at nor straight chairs.We enjoyed the wonderful shower! A grab bar in the bath tub would have been made it safer for us older generation.

Great apartment

My wife and I attended the CMU graduation and rather than stay at one of the overpriced hotels in Mt Pleasant, we were glad to find this amazing apartment in Alma just 20 minutes from the CMU campus. What a gem it turned out to be! Nicely updated but still retaining some of that old school charm. Just a short walk to the downtown area with a decent selection of eateries and pubs. We will definitely look at staying here if we attend a CMU event in the future. Thank you, Jean Ann!

Positives - it was clean, quiet, and a great location for downtown and the college. It was nicely decorated.Things to improve - the pillows are terrible. Hard to sleep well with such awful pillows. The towels are small and so thin. And though there is a big coffee pot, the only coffee provided was Folgers French vanilla. These are easy fixes. Go to Meijer and get new pillows and towels, and get a Keurig for the kitchen. Provide 4-6 Keurig cups to get people started. Lastly, do not use plug in air fresheners. They over power the space with a smell that makes your guest feel like you are trying to cover up something. This has the potential to be a very nice place to stay. But the owners really need to provide better bedding and towels. A bit of a tidy up outside would help too. And the house number is very hard to see in the dark, especially if there is already a car in the driveway. If these things were changed, I would recommend it.

Sorry you didn’t find the provided teams adequate as there is a verity of pillows provided from soft to firm between the 2 rooms. The towels are standard bath towels 100% cotton in precaution to anyone that may have allergies to synthetic materials. We refuse to use keurigs as they have been found to have tremendous issues with mold in both the machine itself as well as the kcups. You should really look into those, they are a serious health hazard. We do not provide coffee for stays only the coffee machine. Lastly the outside was and currently is going through a spraying to kill weeds and the invasive plants. This we do between guest stays as to not disturb or chance having the guest vehicles get overspray on them. Being booked up on a monthly bases makes it challenging to do so. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay along with the location and hope you had safe travels home.

Very easy in and out. Property description was accurate. We could use the TV easily. Plenty of room to hang out. We didn’t cook but they had everything had we chose to. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone coming to the Alma area.
