The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

TOWELS: Place used towels in the laundry basket in the laundry room. BEDDING: Please leave all used beds unmade, no need to strip the linens.

TRASH: Throw all trash away in the blue trashbin outside the mudroom door. Please ensure all trash is contained within a trashbag.

POOL: Ensure TV cover is on, remotes are in the waterproof bag, all pool floaties are returned to their netting, and all toys are put back in the pool bin.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Pool: No glass near the pool area No diving DO NOT TOUCH the pool heater Minors must be accompanied by an adult when using the pool at all times

Outdoor Television: Please replace the cover on the outdoor television &store remotes in waterproof case after each use.

Trash: Please ensure any trash thrown into the blue trash can outside is contained within a trash bag.

We’re a family of four originally from Southern California who moved to Sackets Harbor in search of a slower pace of life and a stronger sense of community. We fell in love with the area and this home, and we’re excited to share it with guests visiting the village.

We enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops, and making memories with our family. As hosts, our goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming home where guests can relax and enjoy their time in Sackets Harbor.

Why they chose this property

We chose Sackets Harbor because it has something that is becoming harder and harder to find: a charming small town where you can slow down and actually enjoy your surroundings. But the best part of Sackets Harbor is the people and the strong sense of community. There’s a genuine warmth here that makes the village feel welcoming and special.

The village is full of historic character, beautiful waterfront views, local restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and places to explore, all within an easy walk from the house. We love being able to walk into town for breakfast or coffee, spend an afternoon by the harbor, grab dinner, and connect with the community without needing to get in the car.

It’s peaceful and relaxed while still having plenty to do, making it a wonderful place for a family getaway or a weekend with friends.

With 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two large living rooms, and a spacious 0.75 acre lot, there’s room for everyone to comfortably spread out while still having plenty of space to gather together. Our favorite part of the property is the expansive yard, which gives guests plenty of room to relax, play, and enjoy time outdoors. During the summer, guests can also enjoy the private pool, while the home's central location makes it easy to walk into the village and explore.

We especially love that the house feels like a home rather than a traditional vacation rental. It’s spacious, comfortable, full of character, and designed for spending time together.
