I really needed some peace and quiet and this beautiful home totally delivered! This was a great weekend, totally relaxed, and what a great place for star gazing!

My husband and I, and dog, really enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet - lots of solitude and nice views. You need a 4 wheel drive for the driveway. The new cedar hot tub was really nice - very hot too! I think we turned it down a degree or two since it wasn’t super cold out. They have thought of almost everything you could need - robes and slippers for the tub and plenty of towels. Also plenty of paper products, Kleenex, paper towels, etc. The decor was stylish - I really liked it and it made for a very enjoyable experience. They also have an amazing coffee maker - a Technivorm - which is always rated as one of the best you can buy. I had never used one and it worked great. They also have a good coffee grinder so if you are really into coffee - bring your own beans. They also had lots of amenities for our dog! A crate was there if needed, a nice Costco dog bed (we have the same one!) dog treats and plenty of water/food bowls, and a baby gate if you don’t want your pup going upstairs - the stairs are a little bit steep getting up to the other bedroom. It was so nice to have the sink and water closet upstairs. The bed upstairs was very comfortable. There were flashlights too, nice for taking the pup out to do his business after dark. There was a stove fireplace to heat the main room but it wasn’t cold enough for us to need that. The other really cool thing here was the Samsung “The Frame” TV - I thought it was art on the wall until we figured it out.

Glorious Getaway!

This place has everything you need for a cozy weekend in but the proximity to the mountains and quaint town are an added bonus. We had so much fun building fires in the wood burning stove, slept great in the beds, and jammed out to records all weekend! The best part was getting to enjoy a full moon soaking in the cedar hot tub. You come for the stay but get a full experience with this place! Couldn’t recommend it enough!
