Foxtail Cabin is a modern mountain retreat designed for families and pairs of couples who want to spend quality time together—without feeling crowded.
Set high in the Rocky Mountains near Fairplay and just 25 miles from Breckenridge, this peaceful cabin gives your group room to relax, reconnect, and make real memories.
When you visit Foxtail Cabin, we want you to recharge and reconnect to nature. Our place is designed to have you slow down and relax. We offer:
-Broadband Wi-Fi and multiple Smart TVs allow everyone to stay entertained so that kids can unwind, couples can relax, and no one feels disconnected or bored.
-Hiking, fishing, skiing, and biking are right outside the door so that your group can easily explore together without long drives or complicated plans.
-Two king bedrooms plus a queen bedroom give everyone comfortable sleeping arrangements so that couples enjoy privacy and families have space to spread out.
-A private hot tub, fire pit, and large deck create a shared gathering space so that evenings are spent laughing, stargazing, and reconnecting after full days outdoors.
-The cozy wood stove adds warmth and charm so that nights feel inviting and everyone naturally gathers in one comfortable space.

Why they chose this property
Foxtail Cabin was perfect for us! We loved the location, size and what the area has to offer. Fairplay is a special place with access to so many outdoor activities and unique Colorado towns. It has so much history!
What makes this property unique
The roads to Foxtail Cabin are mostly paved except for the last block. If you've driven in the mountains, this is essential to save your car. We have good, reliable wifi for working if needed or watching movies in the evenings. The views are great and Fairplay is a few short minutes away.
