2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Tidewater I203 is a beautifully maintained two-bedroom condo in Wild Dunes with a screened-in porch that overlooks the ocean — the spot where guests plan their day, decompress in the afternoons, and star-gaze before heading in for the night. The beach is a quick 5-minute walk through sea grass; the Tidewater oceanfront pool is right outside; and Wild Dunes feels more remote and peaceful here than anywhere else on IOP. Alex at Deserving Vacations is genuinely responsive — got a call from Harris Teeter about what kind of coffee maker was there (both drip and pod, for the record) and answered immediately.

For anyone wanting to genuinely decompress on IOP, this is the place.

Tidewater I203 guests have exclusive access to the Tidewater oceanfront community pool. Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your community.

🏋️ Fitness

The fitness center at Wild Dunes is reserved for resort hotel guests only. We recommend the Isle of Palms Recreation Center as a fantastic alternative — featuring a cardio room, fitness classes, and brand new courts just a quick drive down Palm Blvd.
