The home and property was lovely. We had a great time every day at the beach. The surrounding is serene. The tram was a big help. The house was clean. All the kids loved bunking together in the basement. The only complaint would be that the host didn’t respond to any of our emails, texts, or phone calls leading up to our stay, but we managed to figure things out on our own.

Property was exactly as posted. Host responded quickly to problems with the tram. A tram technician was sent out. After we figured out the glitch it worked. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Table on the deck was excellent for meals and watching sunsets

Except a slight hiccup at checking in, everything was as presented in VRBO. Communication was really exceptional as any questions were answered in a very timely manner.

Due to the sun we could not see the numbers on the garage lock to enter the property. It took a half hour to enter. Then there was no instructions for the tram. The neighbor called the owner of the property to get the tram to work. I called Jaque but it just went to voicemail when I needed them. However, the property was very nice with a great view after the terrible check/in

There was 16 of us and we had plenty of room to stretch out. Everything we needed was available in the beautiful, clean house. We had an issue with the tram working but they came and fixed right away. Communication was great and they kept in contact to make sure there were no more issues. The beach was beautiful too!

Hello Eugenia! Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to review your recent stay at our cottages. We are so happy that you enjoyed your time with us and we hope that you will visit us again! Safe travels and enjoy your day!
The house is lovely and functional. It was super clean!! A disappointment was that the tram from the garage to the house was not working when we checked in. There are a total of 174 stair steps from the house to the beach and the stairs from the garage to the house do not have a hand rail. The grill also was out of commission - disappointing because that is one of the features we especially look for when selecting a property. The beach is great - sandy and lots of it.

Thank you so much for taking time our to review your recent stay at our cottage. We are sorry the tram was not working for your stay and thank you for letting us know about the grill. We will have that replaced as soon as we can. We hope that you were able to enjoy the beach and some of Lake Michigan's sunsets that are truly amazing! We also hope you were able to make wonderful memories!
About 150 feet above a private lake Michigan beach. There is a shelf of shallow water that extends 30-40 feet from the shore, which makes it perfect for little kids.
The interior of the home has extremely high build quality with wood molding over doors, a solid deck, and hardwood floors. There are not steps leading from the road to the house, which is about 75 feet higher than the road. Instead, you take a tram from the garage to the house above
It's a great destination for all ages.

Hello Peter. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to complete your review of Lakefront Villa. We appreciate your feedback and comments and I will be sure to share these with our team. If you are ever in the area, we'd love to host you again!
This was such a fun adventure! Gorgeous views of Lake Michigan! The management company was responsive and helpful with all of our questions - the group before us had left the Murphy beds broken and the dryers weren’t working well. They sent someone to fix the beds and he also oiled squeaky doors and changed light bulbs on our first day. The beach was beautiful and came with a lot of wonderful beach amenities not listed and there is a ping pong table and bikes in the garage. All the beds were super comfortable as well! The kitchen was well stocked for a large group and there was comfy seating in the living room. The 70+ stairs to the beach were doable but you have to be pretty healthy. My in-laws took it very slow. The tram to the house worked well once we figured out how to open the garage. I suggested a label for that button. Overall an amazing stay. We were all super thankful.
