The contemporary and comfortable living room feature sliding glass doors with view of the outdoor pool area. The main living area is furnished with sofas and Flat Screen TV, perfectly suitable for enjoying films and sporting events. Open floor plan with easy access to kitchen and dining area.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need while on vacation and only requires you to bring food, beverages and condiments. There is plenty of space to cook the finest cuisine for all your family and friends. Enjoy your meal inside by the dining room table overlooking the pool, or outside on the covered patio by the pool.

Bedrooms:
The Master Bedroom has 1 king size bed overlooking the pool, private bathroom with walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin size beds. The 3rd bedroom is overlooking the pool and has 1 queen bed and 1 twin (plus trundle) bed. Shared bathroom with walk-in shower.

Had a great week!

While the house is not brand new, it is clean and in generally good condition. The neighborhood is quiet and nice for walks and there is ready access to the somewhat private beach. The heated pool is a nice feature with shade and sun areas available. The shower could use safety bars that were missing. Hopefully in the works as they had existed previously per the pictures in VRBO. We drove to most restaurants including the pier area which is fairly bustling and there are plenty within 1 mile or so of the house. Kitchen is really nice if eating in more. All in all, we had a great week. Passes my main test by feeling sad to leave at the end of our stay!

Bait and switch

We did not actually stay in the property we rented six months ago. Two days before we were supposed to arrive we got a call from Jack at real estate gizmo (property managers for the place we had rented ) that the property we rented through vrbo had maintenance issues so we couldn’t stay there. He told us he was putting us up in another property which was an upgrade. Although the property was nice, it was not what we rented and paid for. And when we got to our other place, we drove by the place that we initially rented and he had rented it to someone else. I think real estate gizmos is running a bait and switch operation through Vrbo. He lied to us and he should not be trusted. If you look up reviews on real estate gizmo, you will find that they have done this to many other people.

Bait and switch?

We booked this property 9 months ahead of time. Two days before our reservation, we received a call from “Jack” that there was a problem with the house and we were being switched to another house - Seaward Shores. (We did notice a van with out of state plates parked at the house we had booked the whole time we were staying at the new house, so hard to know if there was really a problem.)The new house appeared to be a little more modern inside but had a weird layout where the main access to the backyard and swimming pool were through the master bedroom. There is another access point, but that involves going out the kitchen into the garage and walking halfway around the property. Thiscompany clearly considers all their rentals interchangeable - so if you book with them, it helps if you are not really attached to any particular home. In general, all the homes appear to have a pool (heated to 87) outdoor furniture, outdoor lighting, and access to the private beach (which is very nice, was about .25 miles from the house we had, and had a parking lot that only gets crowded on weekends.) So if you really like the beach this is a good place. The neighborhood feels safe, although there is not much else in walking distance besides the beach. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and the living room had a large sectional that was great for hanging out and watching tv. The house was roomy. The cons of this place are: most of the mattresses are pretty soft, Jack is not very helpful once you agree to switch to the new house. He often doesn’t respond. Monica, however, (whose number is the last phone number listed on the front of the information book) is very nice and helpful. The cleaning people showed up to clean the house 45 minutes before check out, and just waited on the porch that whole time while we were loading our car - not exactly an ideal way to check out. Finally, the guest two rooms share a wall of glass block windows so it can be problematic if people like to go to bed at different times. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the pool was great and the weather was warm.

Perfect Family Vacation spot

We stayed here over spring break with our kids and my parents. Pool in the backyard was great. Short walk to the beach. Private beach club access was very convenient. And the Pompano downtown/pier was less than a mile away. Management was very communicative and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Family spring break getaway

We stayed a week in early April 2021. The house was a bit older so its not exactly a luxurious house, however, everything worked and everything was clean. I think the only issue we had the whole time was the freezer leaked a small amount of water onto the kitchen floor one night, but we threw a quick towel down. Were told they are replacing soon. Master bed was a bit squeaky as well. The heated pool was quiet and private and was a nice option for the kids when the ocean was a bit rough. There were two refrigerators, pool towels, and even some beach chairs available to use. Propane grill was clean and easy to start/use. The property was well taken care of and Joey was responsive via text. He even went as far as to send us our daughters baby blanket that we left behind! Thank you Joey! The walk to the ocean was just around 5 minutes and the only "negative" I can think of is that for private beach access you need to pay an additional fee for a key fob for the gate. This was noted on the listing, but this should just be part of the cost of the unit IMO. Great location of the home, overall great service, would stay with this company again when in the area.

South Florida Fam Jam '21

There were hiccups. The second toilet leaked and the first shower wouldn't drain on day two. But, the property management was on top of things. They immediately sought to remedy any issue and were responsive with empathy. This property has so many pros, the slight inconvenience of the other issues were completely erased. We have six children (ages 13-2) and we absolutely had the time of our lives for a week at this property. Not only would I VRBO with this property management group again, I would look for their properties first, before I considered others. The beach is easily and quickly accessed. The location is ideal, there is so much, so close. And the neighbors are even tolerant to my gnarly crew. This is a lovely option to South Florida vacationing. Well done. Thanks for the memories!

Fantastic location

Annika was so enjoyable to deal with and assist with the rental process. We were so pleasantly surprised with how quickly we were fully relaxed in the home and enjoying the pool and the beach. This property is all about the location, 2 min walk to the beach, not about the size of the TV screens or other tech comforts. We will definitely be returning. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Stunning view, pool area and outdoor dining area.

This home is exactly what we wanted for our Florida vacation. We enjoyed every minute. Our BBQ outdoors with the waterview was outstanding. Our family had never experienced a more beautiful waterview from our livingroom. Plenty of space for the whole family. The beach was close and the Atlantic ocean inviting. We are coming back!

Casa Terramar in Pompano Beach, FL

We really enjoyed our stay at the Casa Terramar. We had only a few minutes walk to the beach. The house was very nice and clean. Real Estates Gizmo's service was excellent. Quick and easy check in/check out. We actually extended our stay with 1 week in another of Real Estate Gizmo's properties, Seaward Shores. We highly recommend these people if you're planning a vacation in southeast Florida.
