Discover historic Monteagle, perched atop the scenic Cumberland Plateau—one of the Southeast’s premier destinations for waterfalls, hiking, and outdoor adventure. Located in the heart of the South Cumberland region, you're just minutes from iconic spots like Fiery Gizzard Trail, Foster Falls, and Stone Door, plus unforgettable concerts inside The Caverns. Just off I-24, it’s the perfect basecamp for exploring Monteagle, Sewanee, scenic overlooks, and miles of trails and waterfalls year-round.
After a day exploring waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and hiking trails across the Cumberland Plateau, return to your relaxing mountain cabin retreat and unwind by the fire or on the porch surrounded by nature. A large bay view window fills the cabin with natural light and offers peaceful views of the property.
This cabin features:
• Separate sleeping area at the end of the hall (no door)
• Futon couch in a cozy living area
• Sleeps up to 4 guests
• 1 full bathroom
• Full kitchen for preparing meals
• Small dining table for meals or planning the day’s adventures
• Large bay view window
• Private campfire area for evenings under the stars
• Front porch for relaxing and enjoying the mountain air
The layout is ideal for couples, small families, or friends looking to explore the Cumberland Plateau while having a comfortable place to unwind after a day of adventure.
Guests will have full access to the entire cabin during their stay, including all interior living spaces, the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private outdoor campfire area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the mountains.
The property also features a private entrance to the Mountain Goat Trail, allowing guests to step directly onto the scenic trail for walking, biking, or enjoying the beautiful surroundings of historic Monteagle.

We take pride in providing a clean, comfortable, and well-designed space where guests can relax and explore. We’re always available if needed, while still giving guests the space to enjoy their stay.
