Beautiful cabin with ample space for extended family. Open floor plan kitchen, expansive game room in basement, fire pit, hot tub and a pool / pool house provided hours of endless entertainment. We highly recommend! Close to many activities such as hiking at Ash Cave and water activities at Lake Logan.
The property was beautiful! Very spacious and had lots of room for our group of 11, gave plenty of options for when you needed a minute to yourself. Loved the layout, and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and pool house! Be aware of the driveway coming from the main road to the cabin, it is incredibly steep, but luckily we all brought SUVs and trucks. Less than 15 minutes away from anything you could think of doing while staying.
Thank you!!
Cabin is so spacious, plenty of bathrooms and beds. Great outdoor spaces. Pool was perfect for the kids. Location to trails was perfect. Very quiet property. Thank you for everything.
We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The pool table downstairs was a huge hit and the swimming pool was nice as well. The house was clean and beds were all very comfy!! As advertised two of the bedrooms were supposed to have bunk beds, however only one did. That was the only thing that was not as advertised! Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend!
Everything was wonderful! We had so much fun spending time together. The property was as advertised. The kids loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the pool table and shuffleboard a lot! Highly recommended to anyone looking to get away from all the noise of daily life.
This was an awesome house all of it was great. The pool the kids loved. The only thing is they didn’t get our message about having wood we had ordered. We really had a great weekend. We would recommend this house hands down!
Everyone LOVED this property. Everything was modern but rustic with plenty of room for everyone. We had 12 family members, aged 2 - 73. The pool was a big hit with the kids, especially since it was exceptionally cold while we were there. We ran into a few minor things that needed to be fixed.
there are few concerns, outlet plate covers missing in lower level safety problem especially with young kids. i don't understand why you don' furnish propane with the grill, seems kind of stupid with what you charge for the cabin!!also drains need attention upstairs, very slow. the cabin was excellant
We had a great time staying at Sandstone Estate! Our ages ranged from 12 - almost 80 years of age. Although the wifi was out during our stay and that disappointed the teenagers and made some planning of excursions difficult, we had a lot to do to keep us entertained on property and the cabin itself is very conveniently located to many great hikes and local attractions. When we arrived the pool was frigid bc apparently there needed to be a minor repair, but this issue was taken care of very quickly and the pool quickly warmed up. The whole place was great and the property managers were very responsive to the minor issue with the pool.

Non working appliances and basic amenities missing
By the property's description, it sounded and looked amazing, leading us to choose this overpriced place. However, we found several significant issues:
- No working toaster or hair dryer.
- No carbon monoxide detector in the kids' room.
- Lacking basic welcoming amenities like sugar.
,salt, black pepper, shampoo, and body wash/soap.
- The cookware is rusty and worn out.(not in usable condition)
- We were expected to clean the grill without any provided supplies or tools, such as a scrub.
- Broken chairs on the patio, posing a serious risk of falling and injury.
- The swimming pool had a very high chlorine level
- clogging bathtub and kitchen sinks
Given these numerous problems, we would never encourage anyone to book this property.

Nice but concerns
While the property is lovely and offers some great amenities there were several areas of concern or dissatisfaction.
One bed in lower level frame was totally broken and we had to fix to use.
There is a sharp nail exposed at pantry door that cut a finger
The blankets in the master had not been laundered, false fingernails were found in two of them
Grill igniter is broken and a lighter had to be used
Toilet in the basement is not secure to the floor
Trash bin cabinet in kitchen is very tight and does not pull easily
The pool house floor is slippery and surprised with no pool towels.
The house appeared neat, clean and tidy however the floor had not been mopped in a while as it may have been swept but was very dirty upon wiping up water on the floor shortly after arrival.
Information on website was different then what was on site. We packed many items that ended up being in the house,
None of these were deal breakers as the house fit our family needs well with size of kitchen and multiple bedrooms however attention is needed for the price per night.
