This beautifully renovated home offers 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and backs up into a massive rock hill. It’s like you’re staying right in the caves. Our home features a large 7 person hot tub that sits just beneath the rocks for the most relaxing and serene view. Beautiful Amish furniture is furnished throughout the home. The bunk room, kids’ game room, and a separate family game room make this home a perfect getaway for families and friends of all ages. Situated on 11 acres and less than 3 miles to Cantwell Cliffs, 7 miles to Rockhouse, 12 miles to Old Mans Cave, and minutes to all other Hocking Hills attractions.

The host was great and so was the property! Plenty of room, we laughed and played family card games! The game rooms were a big hit and we enjoyed some snowy trails! The hot tub was fun! Definitely recommend!!
My daughter & I had coffee on the deck! We didn’t care that it was a little chilly!

The house itself was great! Just a few things could have been a bit updated, like the stove and the heating in the basement. Host was awesome and very responsive! We had a great New Years Eve celebration!

Board game weekend

Rock hill retreat was a great place for our group. The bunk bed room provided tons of individual beds, and there were several tables and places for different board games to happen.

We loved the game room … ping pong was a hit, even my 82 year old mother found her inner ping pong champion! We loved the big mudroom and seeing all our coats and shoes in there … the big pantry was a nice surprise … it made coming for Thanksgiving (and storing the way too much food) a lot easier. I think our favorite part was putting the 2 tables together (we did bring a square folding table to bridge the two) and we sat all 12 of us around that table !! Oh and we used that awesome folding table you had in the hall closet for a buffet table … perfect !! Thank you Aaron :)

Relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting

We had an amazing vacation at the rock hill retreat. The home is very comfortable and clean. And the back patio is a perfect location to spend time with family in a beautiful setting. We will be back when we visit the area again!

We really enjoyed the property and surrounding area. Love that the host includes towels, linens and basic toiletries bc it makes packing for a family of 5 a lot easier! Highly suggest this as a rental.

Cabrew Weekend 2022

This was our couple's group 9th year coming to Hocking to cabrew. We stayed at Rock Hill Retreat and had an amazing time. It is by far the best property we have stayed in. There was more than enough room, a beautiful setting (deck and hot tub included), and a wonderful firepit area we enjoyed on Friday night. Would absolultely stay here again!

Overall it was a very nice property. A couple of things we noticed: the coffee cups hanging by the coffee station were dirty. The bathroom with the shower curtain had mold on the shower liner. One of the beds downstairs had black stuff on the sheets. Game room was awesome!Thanks. Karen

Rock Hill Retreat

It was a nice place. Rooms were clean and check in and check out were very easy. They listed slow internet but there was actually no internet and no cell service which makes it very difficult if you need to check into work. If they had internet I would stay there again.

Thank you for your review. I did check the Internet service, and because it is satellite Internet, it is definitely slower, but perhaps it was your cell phone provider as well, because when we checked today we had both Internet and cell service while at the cabin. We do hope to see you again.

Rock Hill Retreat

The property was very nice and roomy. The game room was fun and was used by the whole family. The internet was a bit slow but the property manager told us that it was satellite internet and not to expect high speeds. Overall, our stay was great.

Perfect in every way!

We take a trip every fall with three families; total of 12 of us. This was by far voted the best VRBO house we’ve stayed at by the entire group! Spacious, clean, wonderful attention to detail, and in a great location close to hiking trails. All the furniture was comfortable and the hot tub was loved by all.
