Property was clean and updated kitchenNice patio area to enjoy the outdoors and super comfortable bed in the master!Easy to find, just note that parking is at the topOf the road so a little hike down to the house but overall a very nice property!If you love the sound of flowing water this is a perfect place to just sit back and enjoy!

Beautiful location. Somewhat isolated, which was perfect. Quiet area, with a wonderful stream running along the property. We saw wild turkeys and and a skunk along the stream early one morning. We opened windows and listened to the soothing sounds of the stream. Furnishing and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed.Overall it was a great two days. The only minor complaint was the shower head needed replaced. We traveled to Yosemite twice. Short drive to the park and the downtown area of Oakhurst was very close.

Great place to stay and close to Yosemite. The waterfall next to the house is very cool! Comfy bed, well stocked kitchen, nice that it has the extra half bath. Owners were easy to communicate with and prompt. Loved sitting on the deck listening to the water.

Upon arrival the inside of the house was 98F and two mini-split AC units could not keep up. I contacted the owner and informed them that we would be leaving a day early from our two-day booking because of it and asked for a refund for the day we did not stay but have not received any communication since just crickets Also, the guest book at the house had multiple comments about the AC not keeping up but they seemed surprised by it Maybe a cheaper price and better description as the condition of the place is a little run down ie missing stair nosing

Amazing views in a beautiful hone

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of the creek from the living room. The large windows offer an amazing view of the surrounding nature. There are many beautiful trails within minutes of driving and the town is close for shopping. We chose to cook in the well-equipped kitchen. The property is very clean and well-maintained and hosts are available via VRBO app. Thank you for a great stay.

The house was fairly clean, with good sized rooms, a nice bathroom, and updated appliances. However, within three hours of arrival, we saw a good sized mouse in the living room. The hosts response was that they sometimes have “furry friends” enter and offered to have an exterminator set traps the following day. We did also find mouse droppings in the living room.We did not feel comfortable staying and left the property early. Although the property manager initially responded to our messages, communication became significantly less responsive after we requested a refund. We did not receive the level of follow-up we expected regarding the refund request. Had it not been for the mouse issue the house itself would have been perfect for us.

Definitely enjoyed the drive up to Waterfall. For anyone visiting, once you enter the drive, slow down and take in the scenery. From the pine cones to the lush green surroundings, it is all beautiful.Waterfall is as picturesque as advertised. The aesthetics are very pleasing, from the dishes to the fireplace. Daffodils line the hill leading down to the cabin, creating a warm and welcoming feel. Inside, you will find everything needed for an enjoyable stay, from utensils to hygiene essentials, thoughtfully provided by the Mitchells. You’ll only need to bring your own food (lol).Listening to the waterfall at night is soothing. You would never know it is raining unless the thunder rolls. The foliage and the wildlife is an extra touch, it was great to eat outside.

This location is beautiful. It is a perfect spot for a couple to enjoy some personal time in a remote setting. We have some mobility issues so needing to walk from the parking area presented some challenges but this was not insurmountable. All in all a lovely place.

We had a great stay at the Waterfall House. It was a great location providing access to Yosemite, but really convenient for dog-friendly areas in the Sierra National Forest and Bass Lake. Oakhurst is close for groceries or restaurants, but we mostly cooked at the house.The property is very clean and well appointed, Communication with the owners was great. Listening to the sound of the waterfall from the deck is a great way to relax after a busy day.Would stay here again without hesitation.
